Chobe National Park - The day begins with a transfer from Victoria Falls to Kasane in Botswana. The adventure kicks off with a morning boat safari on the Chobe River. Hippos, crocodiles, and stunning birdlife are ready to greet visitors. Elephants can often be seen bathing and playing in the water, while many animals gather at the riverbanks for a drink.
The boat safari lasts for three hours, followed by lunch. Afterward, a game drive inside Chobe National Park ensures a thorough exploration. The drive continues until 5:00 PM, when the group heads to the campsite to enjoy some welcoming snacks.
A Full Day Game Drive in Chobe National Park
Chobe National Park - Rising early at 5:00 AM, guests enjoy a light continental breakfast before embarking on an early morning game drive. This time of day offers a higher chance of seeing active big cats. By mid to late morning, the group returns to camp for a delightful “bush brunch.”
The afternoon is spent relaxing in the camp, soaking in the refreshing air of the African bush. At 3:00 PM, a different route is taken to spot more wildlife. Chobe offers an incredible safari experience, with each game drive being unique. The group returns to camp by 6:00 PM for dinner.
After dinner, it’s time to reflect on the afternoon’s sightings and share stories with fellow group members.
Wrap Up Safari in Chobe National Park
Chobe National Park - The safari concludes with an early morning game drive aimed at spotting any wildlife missed during the first two days. Rising at 5:00 AM, participants embark on a four-hour safari before returning to camp for breakfast. After refreshing, bags are packed, and the group drives to the park’s exit. With a bit of luck, more animals may be spotted on the way out.
One last boat safari on the Chobe River offers a final chance to bid farewell to the crocodiles, hippos, and remarkable birdlife in this beautiful park.
The journey back to Victoria Falls is through the Kazungula border post, with an expected hotel check-in by 4:30 PM.
