- Chobe National Park - Located in Botswana, Chobe National Park is renowned for its remarkable wildlife diversity. Guests will be picked up from their hotel in the Livingstone area around 6:45-7:00 am and taken on a short drive to cross into Botswana (a passport is required). After enjoying a light snack, a qualified guide will lead a game drive in a 4x4 vehicle and a safari boat tour through the park. Chobe is famous for its rich wildlife, with frequent sightings of elephants and lions, as well as giraffes, kudus, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, and more. Lunch will be served at the Riverside Cafe in Kasane, known for its excellent home-cooked meals. All guides are professionally trained, and comprehensive public liability insurance is provided. Guests will return to their Livingstone hotel by approximately 6:00 pm. Chobe offers full, half, and multi-day safari options.

Established in 1996, African Horizons has been offering day and multi-day Botswana Safaris for nearly 30 years. Praised as “Exceptional” by Lonely Planet, our certified and licensed guides will pick you up from your accommodation within the Livingstone area. After a 40-60 minute drive, you will cross into Botswana (a passport is required) and transfer from our air-conditioned minibus to a game drive vehicle. Following a brief stop for a snack and registration, you will be taken into Chobe National Park. This remarkable park boasts an abundance of wildlife during the dry season (May-November) and is still a worthwhile visit during the Emerald season (November-April). You will enjoy a 4x4 safari as well as a boat cruise. Pickup from your lodge is scheduled between 6-7 am by appointment, with a return between 5-6 pm.
