There was an abundance of animals.
The team was so friendly and helpful with our last minute booking.
Our guide Nelson was amazing and so kind. He was so knowledgeable about safety, the area and all of the animals. He made sure we all had the best time.
The food was so delicious and varied.
10/10 recommend this experience.
Thank you Kalahari for an experience I will never forget.

Recommended camping in the bush - Great tour. Caleb was our guide and pick-up person at Chobe Inn. Super punctual! During the tour in the national park, he answered all questions competently and explained a lot about the habits and peculiarities of the animals. He took great care of us photographers and patiently endured my bird obsession, ensuring that I could take great pictures. Thank you, Caleb, at this point.
The camp was functional, and the kitchen for the circumstances (cooking over an open fire) was fantastic. The rolls exceeded even German expectations for bread.
Overall, highly recommended.

Mind blowing safari - We were picked up from our accommodation and taken to Botswana border, where arranged pick up by Leo our guide for next 3 days. A delightful guide who looked after us very well. He understood light for photographers and due to him we have amazing photos of a pride of lions killing buffalo in daytime. Trip started with river cruise.
We slept in tents on swags much more comfortable than I expected. Tents were mosquito proof although we didn't see any.
The camp chef, Pontso and his assistant Amos cooked great meals over open fire. Including bread freshly baked on camp oven.
Leo always willing to stop with photographers wanting just one more photo. The first day there was 3 of us then 2 on a private tour. In photo of tents you can see showrt tent Pontso made sure we had warm showers. We were at camp 9 furthest in park and saw cheetah first thing on 2 mornings. Followed the pride making short work of buffalo kill. 🦒 🐘 in huge numbers with many other animals and crossed off many beautiful birds from list. Thank you Leo we would ❤️ to come back one day.

Semi Luxury camping with G. - G as the guide was very knowledgeable (we have a lot of experience), he listened to what we wanted like not driving fast to chase game sightings and understanding what we were interested in. The camping location in the park was great and we started and ended with a boat tour. Logistics flawless: border, their transit location food and timing, etc. Food at the camp was great and fresh and drinks were plenty and custom to what we wanted. Only improvement opportunity is early morning preparedness: a 6am drive means coffee and cold food should be available at 530 with no cooked breakfast needed so you leave on time. Overall highly recommend…perfect amount of time on park.

Incredible experience; sad it’s over - Wow, this was incredible. My husband and I are not campers but we are so glad we picked the three days, two nights camping experience. It was amazing sleeping inside the park. The first night we heard an elephant before heading to bed and then a pride of lions walked past the camp in the early hours of the morning. We saw heaps of amazing wildlife, many close up moments. We were spoilt with having the talented tour guide Mr T for our whole experience, whose wealth of knowledge and clever tracking skills made the safari. The food was also great and as a coeliac, I was also catered for. They had good knowledge of cross contamination and there were substitutions during lunches and dinners so I didn’t miss out. We are sad it’s over!!

Camping in Botswana! - I wasn't sure about camping in Botswana. But this experience was great. The campsite was just fine and the food was great considering we were in the middle of nowhere. Pit toilet was a first.
We had several safari tours during the 3 days and saw many impalas, baboons, elephants, giraffes, and lions. Truly a memorable experience. Also had the chance to cruise on the Chobe River and saw many birds and crocodiles.
Our guide, Moses, did a great job of noticing animals in the distance and then stopping for pictures. We were able to get up close and personal with elephants and lions.
Remember to bring a hat and plenty of bug spray.

Seamless, Wild, and Worth Every Moment - We did a 2 day / 3 night camping trip with Kalahari Tours in Chobe National Park, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish.
We were a group of four without our own vehicle, and everything was handled seamlessly, including transfers from Victoria Falls and drop-off in Livingstone. Super easy and stress-free.
The trip itself was action-packed from the moment we arrived. Great game drives, an excellent boat cruise, and amazing sightings throughout. Camping in the park was a real highlight, it felt like a proper immersion in the wild, but we always felt safe with such an experienced team.
Evenings around the fire under a sky full of stars made it extra special.
Big credit to the whole team, and especially our guide, Mr T. His knowledge and tracking skills made a huge difference, we saw a pride of lions in motion and even three different leopards in three days.
Absolutely worth every Pula and highly recommended.

Unforgettable Chobe Safari Experience!! - Our Chobe safari was absolutely incredible from start to finish! Our guide, Six, was truly exceptional — so knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about the wildlife. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw as many animals as possible, from lions and elephants to hippos and rare birds. We always felt safe and comfortable in his care, and his love for nature made every moment even more special.
A huge thank you as well to Chef Pete, who spoiled us with the most delicious meals! Every dish was made with care and flavor — the perfect way to refuel after our adventures. His warmth and hospitality made the experience feel like home in the middle of the bush.
The entire team made this trip unforgettable. If you’re thinking about a safari in Chobe — don’t hesitate, just go! You’ll be in the best hands with Six and Chef Pete.
