Your instructor, Kim, was fabulous, with all the things you need to work in a teaching environment, a wonderful personality, great teaching skills, safety skills and promptness. I know safety is an issue with anything like this, but my group was all murmuring about how as much fun as it was, we felt it was not as much "hands on" as it was a "watch and learn" class. Maybe this is because it was a beginner class, and we all did have some involvement, but there were many things during the process where we were only spectators that perhaps we could have been more involved in. Of course, the next group of learners might be different too, but we were all wishing we could have been more involved. But, this is not to be seen as a complaint at all, just feedback. Maybe a repeat visit or a individualized lesson will give each of more of what we were hoping for. Again, nice job Kim! Thank you Luke Adams' studio.
Went with a cousin and had a blast learning about the art of glass blowing. Our instructor Christina was great and helped us every step of the way. She was an amazing teacher! I will definitely be returning to make some more pieces :) Thanks again!
A very memorable experience. Our instructor, Dylan did a great job.
This experience was SO Much fun and something I've always wanted to try!!!!! My husband and I had Dillon as an instructor and he was awesome……..very informative, patient and a great guy! We will be going back soon!!!
Dylan was excellent, we will definitely be back
I LOVED the class and we had a great time. Our instructor was AWESOME! We love the finished pieces....my only reason for not giving 5 stars is that we had to pay extra to make items we wanted. Just put in the cost of the class. I was annoyed that it cost me an extra $50 for the two of us on Saturday. I get the upcharge for the colors but not for making the pieces we choose to make. We had to make something we chose from what we were shown....so why was there an extra $50????
It felt hurried and we didn't get to do much ourselves
The class was awesome, a lot of fun for all. The instructor was a good teacher who helped us all the way through the process. Our pieces came out beautifully. One thing I would tell you to do is dress warm on a cold day as the space is quite cold unless you are right near the ovens.
Instructor was great. Loved overall product!
Our instructor, Christina, was fabulous! Can't wait to see our pieces! If they are good it is Christina's doing! A very fun night!
Great studio and fantastic instructor (Keith C). 5 stars for sure! We'll be back to take other workshops.
I forgot our instructor's name (sorry), she provided education, kept things interesting, just the right amount of hands on and she was able to put up with us. Kudos! And Thank you!
The teacher, Keith, was knowledgeable, easygoing, and fun to work with. He was also great at making suggestions for what we would want our final creations to look like.
Great! The scalloped bowl and paperweight look amazing! I had lots of fun.
Awesome experience! Kind and very helpful staff - and left us feeling so proud and having beautiful art!
Three of us attended a 3-hour class and loved it! A month later, we returned with 5 more friends/family and had an amazing time! Katelyn and Dylan are great instructors!!!
My wife and I attended a 3 hour class. We were extremely happy with the friendliness and knowledge of our instructor, the level of instruction, our choices on what to make...and ultimately the glass pieces that we made. I'd recommend this to anyone who has an interest in the art form and the desire to give it a hands-on try. We considered it a wonderful experience.
interesting class and beautiful glass pieces to take home
Our instructor Keith Cerone was excellent and informative. I have, and will recommend this class to others. We will be back.
Our instructor was so careful, pleasant, accommodating, encouraging and friendly that made the whole experience most enjoyable. We hope to participate in your other activities with glass :)
Great instructor (Kristina), very interesting process! Thanks
Instructor was great, patient and it was a great experience.
Great time blowing glass this past weekend. The instructor was very helpful and experienced and I ended up with 3 beautiful pieces of art! Hope to come back again.
Loved it. Keith was awesome, and I love my products!
Keith was an awesome instructor. He explained every step and patiently led us through each process. We had a great time and were very pleased with the results.
My hubby & I try to do new things for our weekly date. We loved making beautiful items. This was our second time. We had done a 1 hour class, and loved it so much that we scheduled a 3-hour class. We loved our instructor. She helped make our items even more beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful experience - we are already talking about next time.
The class was fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone.
So much fun and a great date night.
CLass was very interesting and hands on. We really had a great time.
The instructor, Keith is very talented, informative and interesting. The class size was perfect 4:1. I will go again!
Had fun and learned so much. Kevin was great.
This is my second time taking a 3 hour class. It was smaller than the last class -- just two of us with an instructor, which was nice. The pieces didn't come out as good as last time -- the colors and the shaping of some of them were not as nice. For example, the two stemless wineglasses we made were not shaped the same as the samples and were a bit large. They were supposed to be just colored on the bottom, but ended up colored most of the way up -- not as elegant as we had hoped. Garden ball came out beautiful and the experience was great.
Had a wonderful time. Wanted to continue with the glass blowing. Wish I had found glass blowing when I was younger
I love the class teacher was very informative. Wish I had asked her more about where she trained! Look forward to coming again in the future!!!
Christina was awesome! She was so much fun to work with and very willing to answer questions. She definitely made it so I would want to come back.
I did not know what to expect when I registered for this experience. I recall watching glass blowing years ago in western Massachusetts and I was fascinated by it. I have no formal arts education, although I consider myself creative, so when I saw the Groupon, I decided to check it out. I was very glad to have the artist, Caitlin, to do the "heavy lifting" as I was intimidated by the potential danger of working with molten glass! There was just enough "hands on" for this beginner to feel connected to the project without being too risky!! Caitlin did a great job of educating us on the process, and she was patient and competent both as an instructor and an artist. I am so excited to pick up my ornaments this afternoon, and I cannot wait to see my grown children's faces when I tell them that I made their 2015 christmas ornaments!! Also, I am hooked! I will be back!
Out instructor was very friendly and knowledgeable about glass blowing. He totally made the experience exceptional.
We enjoyed learning about glass blowing and watching our products being made. It was so great being able to be in control of the colors and helping with the process! We will definitely be back to make more glass blown products, as well as share our satisfaction with friends!
