PAUL OFFERED AN EXCELLENT BALANCE OF HANDS ON AND DIDACTIC TRAINING SUPPLEMENTED BY RELEVANT STOEYTIMES WHICH WERE LOCAL .
I took a class about 3 years ago but never went for my license because I felt the class I took at a different place didn’t offer much and I didn’t feel comfortable applying. Well I decided I wanted to go for my ltc because I want to hunt and wanted to get educated on hand guns. Paul completely changed that for me. I get extremely confident in handling a handgun after leaving the class because of the number of guns I got to load and unload and it was a very relaxed setting. I will be returning for more classes with Paul because I feel the class was well worth it and the knowledge I gained will help me in the future
Great exposure into the world of firearms with an incredibly knowledgeable instructor who has many year of experience both training and teaching.
Paul conducts a serious, knowledgeable firearm safety class focused on the essentials for owning and operating firearms. Going in, I knew practically nothing about handguns and today I have the confidence to hold and operate single actions, double-actions, semi-automatics. I highly recommend this no fuss, straightforward class that leaves you feeling positive about owning a firearm.

The instructor was knowledgeable, professional, and patient.
Hands on approach
Experienced instructor and good program.
Great class very informative
This is a great instructional class, especially for beginners. The instructor does a good job of explaining the basics thoroughly. More time handling the firearm so as to gain comfort/confidence would be beneficial. Overall, highly recommended.
Small class size; real world application and examples; direct interaction with instructor, not just presented with a video; great value.
Paul of the Firearm Safety Academy is professional, courteous and highly knowledgeable. I moved from out of state (NYC) and learned so much from taking this mandatory course. I have every intention of returning to the Firearm Safety Academy for more classes (particularly the Gun Cleaning Workshop), once I receive my FID (Medford will only permit new applicants an FID. After five years, you can apply for your LTC).
Excellent class, very informative and interactive. I would highly recommend to friends and family!
