The tour was great but reservations were really hard to nail down! I proposed at least 3 different dates before getting an actual reservation. It would really help to know what’s available prior to booking so no one has to waste time! Availability should be on the website!!!
Amelia was an excellent guide. The wine tour was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I've already mentioned it to 2 other groups of friends to do again in the boring months of January and February.
It was so much more than I expected ,I recommended it to friends already Thank You11
We had a great tour of the waterfront with Amelia! She was extremely knowledgeable and threw out great little trivia facts about wine. We had a great group of people as well. This is definitely a walking tour, so make sure you wear comfortable shoes. We had an absolutely beautiful day for our tour and I didn't mind the distance between stops one bit. It was a gorgeous day to be outside enjoying the city! Would definitely recommend this tour.
I definitely enjoyed the tour! A few things that I think would improve it. Less walking! I'm not trying to be lazy, lol, but for something like this I think it makes sense to have shorter distance between the stops. The waterfront tour was too much. And maybe this was just a snafu that day, but the point of it is not just trying wines, but also pairing them with food. So for 2 of the 3 stops to have the food come out way later than the wine, sort of messes it up. Fun time and delicious wines though!
We enjoyed the restaurant and wine stores but were expecting a more extensive tour of local wine bars with more walking, eg I to the North End
We thought the tour was excellent. I appreciated the knowledge I learned about wine as well as the neighborhoods as we walked from place to place. I also appreciated how we took the scenic route, going along Boston Harbor, rather than a non-descript busy street. I would recommend this to a friend!
The host was wonderful. The logistics was not. We met in the wrong place because the website hadn't been updated. Two of the restaurants seemed surprise to see us. Otherwise, my daughter and I enjoyed it.
Our guide, Joe, did an overall great job. He was very knowledgable of the wines and maintained a comfortable friendly atmosphere for everyone. I would definitely recommend anyone give this a try.
