Beautiful Day - We had a very nice experience. Willy was a great driver, friendly and courteous. The homes and their surroundings were beautiful. I would recommend this to anyone looking to experience the area outside of Boston.

Full Immersion - The tour was a full day immersion into gilded age and did not disappoint! Full day, great exercise so wear comfy shoes! Our tour guide Sam was knowledgeable, good energy, and flexible the entire day. I highly recommend! My only critique is that our driver took a phone call for almost the way back to Boston, it did not feel safe, and felt a disconnect between tour guide and guests.

Newport Mansions day trip - What a great day we had and lots of cool stuff to see. Our guide, Willy was awesome. He was a great driver and was very knowledgeable about the destinations we went to. I highly recommend this tour.

Great Newport Tour - My friend and I took a tour of the Newport mansions yesterday with Willie. He was a wonderful Tour Guide. He called us to make sure that we were comfortable with our pick up time and location. He asked everybody in our van for feedback during the tour to make sure that we were all happy with the time we were spending at each place. He said there was flexibility to spend more time at lunch in Newport or to spend more time in the parks and let us choose. It was a pleasant lovely day and I would highly recommend it to others.

Rockport From Boston September 2025 - Our Guide Timmothy was competent, very knowledgeable in the type of local tourist information we enjoyed and provided a safe, hectic-free experience. The tour was well worth the cost. The tour included a highly entertaining and informative selection of Gilded Age properties in Rockport, Rhode Island and with insightful rolling commentary unique to the tour. The Small group experience was delightful, and we will book with TripAdvisor again with confidence.

A fantastic day out - We enjoyed the day trip to Newport tremendously including the educational and fun commentary by Tim, ample time to tour 2 mansions, drive around other mansions with interesting facts and free time in Newport. The bus was also very comfortable.

Great day exploring Newport! - This is a great way to see Newport while in Boston. Let someone else fight the Boston traffic while you ride in a comfortable coach with a knowledgeable tour guide. Tim was a great driver and gave us lots of interesting information as traveled. The timing of the tour was perfect. You take a quick but beautiful walk into the Breakers Mansion, have a few hours to explore Newport and have some lunch, then a visit to the Marble House.

Interesting day trip to... - Interesting day trip to view the gilded age mansions. Travel time was long, but unavoidable. Boston traffic is terrible. Would have been better if we could have been picked up at our own hotel, which is a major one. Tour guide Tim was very good.
