Legends, lagers and “lobsta” rolls - Our guide (for some reason, I’ve forgotten his name) was an accomplished former school teacher, and it really showed. He had a mastery of the historical subject matter, including local myths and legends. He also gave great advice on where to have the best lobster roll, as well as dissecting Bostonians’ accents. Would love to have the photo in front of the Green Dragon.

A highlight to our time in Boston - We booked both the True Crime Tour and the Pub Crawl Tour in Boston and had an absolute blast. Tony was phenomenal—super knowledgeable, engaging, and a natural storyteller who brought the history and local lore to life. He kept the pace perfect, answered every question with insight, and made each stop memorable. These tours ended up being a highlight of our trip to Boston. If you’re looking for a fun, informative way to experience the city, these 2 tours would be a top recommendation! The pictures of our group were an added bonus! Thank you Tony, and Top Dog!

Fact filled, fun foray - The tour was super fun. Our guide, Cormac, knew a ton about the history of beer making and pubs in Boston. Of course we had some good beer, in historic pubs too! Highly encourage you check out their tours!

Pass on this one. - Very nice guide. Problem is we got a bit of Boston Pub history, practically no history of or information on beer (like what makes New England IPA) and beer tastings was “there’s the bar, buy yourself a beer”. No planned tastings or group seating. Basically we went to two pubs, got a small bit of the pubs unique history and that’s it. Felt more like we were just pointed in a direction and that’s it. I’ve been on beer tours before and this one needs improvement. Suggest side room or designated area. pub owner greeting, organized tastings and description of what we are tasting. Hard to do at happy hour times but schedule off hour times.
