Good tour with knowledgable tour guide! - It was an excellent experience before our afternoon flight out of Logan airport. All thanks to our knowledgeable tour guide Sam-I-Am!. He gave honest recommendations on places to explore more and what to check out when we come back!

Great way to get to know Boston - The tour was amazing. Our guide, Sam-I-Am aka George Clooney, made learning about Boston a really entertaining experience. Also, Stanley Cup, the driver, did a great job keeping everything on schedule, while also giving us time to take pictures of the various highlights around the city. I greatly recommend this tour!

Sam-I-Am is top notch! - We had a wonderful tour of Boston today, with Sam-I-Am aka George Clooney and Stanley Cup! The narration by Sam was top notch, and we learned so much, and laughed the entire time! We always love to do a double decker bus tour whenever we visit a new city, and this one did not disappoint!!

Underrated way to see Boston - “Sam I Am”gave us a great show of the city and had some great banter! Tour takes about an hour and you can hop off but why would you when it’s that fun

OK choice for first time. - It was fun. The guide, "Sam-I-am", was entertaining and the driver, "Stan", was cordial and attentive to safety. It was as hot on the inside of the bus as it was on the top. Fix the a.c.

Good route. Busses too infrequent. - The tour route is good. The frequency of the busses is not. We did the circuit a couple times with a couple stops. We had only one live narrator (on a couple different sections of the tours). This was Elijah ( I believe). He was knowledgeable and obviously loved Boston and its stories. Other than that one great live narrator—the rest of the tour sections were “canned” and rather dull.

Too many other hop on hop off tour busses, don't take this one! - There's a lot of different hop on hop off tours in Boston. We chose Boston Sightseeing because of the open top double decker bus, which we've taken these at different cities. However this one wasn't very good. On July 3rd, when we got on at stop 1, a lady ran over and started yelling at the bus driver that the bus just swiped her husband's truck! There weren't very many people on this tour. The bus took off and the narrator is a recording and was extremely loud! When we were stopped, the bus played music, which was also very loud! They advertise that they make 11 stops, not true, they make 8. You have to purchase extra to do the other 3 stops! When you do that, you load onto a small 8 person shuttle bus. Before we got off to tour the TD Gardens, I specifically asked the bus driver when the last pick up was, he said 4pm. After our tour, we waited at the stop at 3:11pm, the bus never came! I called at 4pm and the dispatcher put me on hold 3 times. Then he came back and said there was traffic and the bus should be there in about 30 minutes. We didn't trust him so we ended up calling an uber. In the hour that we waited for this bus, we saw the Green and Orange Trolley tour bus six times! If you take a tour, use the Trolley, they have a lot more trolley busses and they go around multiple times. I think this company only has 2 busses and forget about being picked up after 3pm!

The worse for the $$ - Due to an ER on our route we either had to keep getting off & meet another bus or missed our routes. Drivers were quite confused with the situation. We finally gave up. Very disappointed

By far, the WORST hop on -hop off tour company! Find another ! - The tour guide was bad. The bus driver was slow and literally went 5 miles per hour! We could have walked faster. The bus schedule was extremely late, so there was very little “hop on” opportunities. 10 trolley and duck companies stopped and passed us by as we waited and eventually gave up to get back on! A complete rip off! Also the convenience of their route is questionable as some are hop on and off and some are walking?!?! But on the map it looks like it’s not. Use better use of your time and money and choose ANY other hop on and off company.

Didn’t work out this time. - We needed to change the date. Unfortunately, no one answered the phone the morning of the day before our scheduled tour, and the mailbox was full. I started calling at 8:58, and called several times. At tablet ten someone finally answered. At that time we were told it was too late (less than 24 hours), so we could not change it. That evening I found an email stating it could be changed, but, of course, it was too late. I found the email on our way out of Boston. So, instead of the Hop-On-Hop-Off tour, we walked the Freedom Trail. It was a great (although wet!) day, anyway. We look forward to our next hop-On-Hop-Off Tour, this time in NYC, Monday and Tuesday.
