- Massachusetts State House - The journey begins with a drive to the State House, followed by a scenic drive across Beacon Hill, along Mt. Vernon Street, Louisville Square, Acorn Street, and east on Beacon Street to the Col. Robert Gould Shaw and the Massachusetts 54th Regiment Monument. The route continues on Beacon Street past the Harding House, the Boston Athenaeum, to Tremont and School Streets.
- King’s Chapel Burying Ground - Parking will be available for a visit to the King’s Chapel Burying Ground, with an opportunity to explore inside.
- Granary Burying Ground - The tour proceeds to the Granary Burying Ground, the final resting place of three signers of the Declaration of Independence. The walk will also pass by the original site of the Boston Latin School and Boston’s Old City Hall. This area on School Street is central to Boston’s early settlement, featuring sites of Anne Hutchinson’s and John Winthrop’s homes. The Old Corner Bookstore is located here, and across Washington Street is the Old South Meeting House.
- Old South Meeting House - The exterior of the Old South Meeting House will be viewed, with an option to enter (admission requires an additional fee). The walk will continue to the Old Colony House, the site of the Boston Massacre, and the First Meeting House.
- Faneuil Hall Marketplace - The tour will proceed to Faneuil Hall, with a chance to explore the Great Hall and the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company Museum on the 4th floor, if open (occasionally closed without prior notice for private events).
- The Paul Revere House - Returning to the car, the tour will head to the Paul Revere House in Boston’s North Square. This area showcases some of the oldest streets in Boston, along with Father Taylor’s Seaman’s Bethel (now Sacred Heart Church).
- Old North Church & Historic Site - The tour continues by car to Christ Church (Old North) on Copp’s Hill, where two signal lanterns were placed in the Belfry on April 18, 1775. Nearby, the tour will pass by the Copp’s Hill Burial Ground, en route to Charlestown and Bunker Hill.
- USS Constitution - A brief parking stop allows for a visit aboard the USS Constitution (closed on Mondays). “Old Ironsides” is one of the original six frigates built for the US Navy during George Washington’s presidency.
- Bunker Hill Monument - The drive concludes at Breeds Hill for a walk around the Battle of Bunker Hill Monument, an excellent spot for photography.
