Additional Information

Why should you choose Boston Foodie Tours’ North End Neighborhood Tour? Don’t take our word for it, hear from our recent visitors who exclaim it’s the ‘BEST food tour EVER’ and simply ‘extraordinary’.

Boston Foodie Tours, multiple times awarded, are curated through the eyes of our proprietor, a Boston-local with Italian-American roots and a culinary school graduate. We don’t merely focus on award-winning food items, that’s just a start. Between tasting what can arguably be called the best pizza in the country, a unique Italian sub that has won the Best of Boston, a times magazine-praised pasta, and a famous cannoli, our goal is to narrate the complete story of this historic neighborhood, covering from its historical aspects to its movie connections and crime stories! And as we explore hidden gems, we equally involve local residents, providing them a platform to narrate their personal experiences.

And how could we forget mentioning the three times Best of Boston winner bread bakery, and the salumeria that starred in Food Network’s, ‘Best Thing that I Ever Ate’

Feeling excited to join us? We hope you are!

Great guide, passionate and took care of everything and everyone! - We were starving at the beginning of our tour but not to worry! Even though our first stop did not prepare our food for the group, the rest of the day certainly made up for it! Food was absolutely delicious! We were completely stuffed at the end and enjoyed a gracious guide and a scrumptious afternoon tasting the finest pizza, pasta, and cannolis Boston had to offer!

North End Personified - Audrey is just outstanding!! She is personable, clever, and jovial. We hit it off immediately. We sampled representative food from the North End (Italian) from pizza to cannoli (leave the gun!). Not only was the food wonderful, Audrey’s knowledge and history of the area and the restaurants was exceptional. Questions were asked and answered. What a fantastic afternoon!!! TAKE THIS TOUR

It was lovely and informative - I had a nice time. It was very interesting, well planned, entertaining and well worth the price. There were 4 stops with the last one being the longest. We heard lots of Italian being spoken. The host took an interest in all of us. Our party of 6 people plus the host worked out just right.

Experience the North End like a local - I enjoyed a fantastic North End food tour with Audrey. It was just me and one other couple, so we had a lovely intimate group that had a great time strolling around Little Italy and sampling so many delicious tastings. Audrey is a wealth of information about the North End, but what makes it so special is that she really knows the people in the neighborhood so you feel like you get an insider's glimpse of life in this community. Not only did we enjoy tastings at a number of exceptional award-winning restaurants, bakeries, and shops, but if you follow all of Audrey's recommendations and suggestions for other notable eateries, you could plan out your whole Boston visit with top-notch experiences. My favorite part? A sit down meal with bread, olives, pasta, and a delightful glass of chilled limoncello to finish up the tasting. I highly recommend this tour as part of your Boston visit, but make sure to do it at the START so that you can follow up with all the places you will discover!

Great tour and host. - We stopped in Boston on a cruise and have always wanted to visit the North End. Audrey, the tour guide was great and does her best to make the experience memorable. The tour tastes were great and some people enjoyed some more than others. We went on a Sunday, so some changes are made because of business closures. The alternatives were good but maybe different than where you expect to go. There are great places where we went that you may not have found/went on your own. It’s always easy to know where the most popular place are, but we went to a few lesser known gems. My favorites were the sub sandwich and the pasta restaurant, they were amazing I’m so glad we had Audrey. It’s her business and it’s obvious how much she tries to make it enjoyable.
