Phil - the best instructor - It was the first time we were skiing. And we were absolutely lucky to get Phil as our instructor. He is amazing! He understood strengths and weaknesses of each of us and taught us accordingly. He was patient and supportive while also challenging us to achieve beyond our own expectations. He encouraged us and made us laugh to always keep the energy high. A great experience and thank you Phil!

Amazing experience! - It was a lovely experience! Highly recommended! Ivan the store manager was really kind to give our group a private instructor over just a call- helping us with all our doubts as first timers! Phil the ski instructor was so patient and fun to learn from! Great ski lessons- fun to talk to- really funny and supportive- helped us learn so much in such little time. The people at the ski depot were also very kind and helpful- helping us and joking around the whole time! Overall a lovely experience- 10/10 recommended. The best ski service in Borovets hands down!

Fantastic experience - I would like to give a huge shout out to Neil Burton of Hunters Ski School. Not only is he a fantastic instructor but a true gentleman. He showed great patience with our Autistic son Toby, he got him on skis and moving and gave him a sense of accomplishment. I can’t thank Neil enough for that and also helping me find my ski legs for the first time in 20 years. He was great craic, both my wife Nadine and my daughter Zoe improved with their skiing my daughter particularly gained huge self confidence. Shout out to Lexi for the beer and laughs (hope Pepe is alright when you get home😊😊) and the lads in the equipment room in Hunters. Thank you for making a fantastic holiday for me and my family❤️❤️

Great buzz on the slopes with Neil!! - We booked hunters ski school after a good bit of reviewing all ski schools but hunters seemed perfect for our group of mixed levels. All the guys in the depot were so nice to deal with as well!! Neil was our instructor and considering all our levels he got us going on the mountain. The man has some amount of patience!! Our 3 days were so much fun!!! We also had Lexi drop in on us occasionally in between her classes and the laugh we had with both Neil and Lexi was brilliant!! I'd highly recommend Hunters and Neil for your rentals and lessons. We can't wait to go back!! Thanks a million for everything guys !!

There was a significant difference of skiing ability in our group from complete beginners to very capable. Hunters catered for us all magnificently. Nothing was a problem. Our instructors were Lexei, Phil and Yuri. All of them were great with heaps of patience (especially with me!) Their communication was also superb. They took videos and pictures of us skiing and loaded them up on to a WhatsApp group for us. All of us made great strides in our ability over the four days we were there. We will go back next year for sure. A mention as well for the guys who gave out all the ski gear. Very efficient, friendly and organised. All of the people at Hunters help made our holiday special. Thanks all!

Amazing Progress & Fantastic Instructors – Perfect for All Abilities! - We travelled as a group of 15, with a mix of complete beginners and experienced skiers. Our family of five had never skied before (our youngest just 6 years old), so we didn’t know what to expect. But by the end of just four days, everyone was feeling confident on the slopes – our older kids even tackled a red and a black run! The progress across the whole group was incredible. We always felt completely safe in the capable hands of Phil, who was brilliant throughout. Lexi also took great care of us and especially our youngest son. The whole Hunters team is energetic, knowledgeable and so much fun to be around. I personally had a tough first day with a few falls and my confidence was pretty low, but Phil picked up on it straight away and had me sorted within an hour on day two – a total game changer. The group race on the last day was a highlight for all 15 of us and such a fun way to finish the week. We would definitely recommend the Hunters team, and we’ll absolutely be back!

Fantastic equipment and tuition - Couldn't recommend Hunters Ski School enough, especially ski instructor Phil (he's amazing!!) We were a small group of four 40'ish guys with no previous ski experience. The equipment we were supplied with all worked perfectly and the check out experience was simple. The equipment hire staff do not help so much with the fitting so its worth having an instructor to guide you through getting kitted up. On top of being personable, Phil has an incredible knowledge of skiing. His manner of teaching will encourage/push you whilst also feeling like you're in safe hands. His jokes will also generate a laugh or two (most of the time! 🤣). Phil gave us the confidence and skills to have an incredible trip, we achieved far beyond our initial expectations. Thoroughly recommend Phil and Hunters services.

First ski trip to Borovets, Bulgaria - As complete beginners we were looking for alot of help and guidance, we got that and so much more from Hunters Ski School, genuinely would highly recommend them for anyone coming to Borovets. From the moment we collected our ski gear to dropping it back after 3 great days of learning to ski, we had the best experience that went way beyond our expectation. In particular, our instructor Phil was the highlight of our experience, absolutely fantastic with lots of knowledge to share and just knew when to encourage us to do more than we thought we were capable of. He had a brilliant ability to teach us together whilst also identifying what we needed as individuals. A great first ski experience that was made possible by Phil and Hunters Ski School, thank you!
