As one of Georgia’s largest national parks, Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park encompasses six municipalities: Borjomi, Kharagauli, Akhaltsikhe, Adigeni, Khashuri, and Baghdati, extending from the Borjomi resort to the town of Kharagauli. Together with the adjacent Borjomi Nature Reserve, the total area covers 851 square kilometers, representing more than 1% of Georgia’s total territory. Established in 1995 and officially opened in 2001, the park is renowned for its diverse geographical and ecological zones, landscapes, historical monuments, and rich flora and fauna. The park boasts a rapidly developing tourist infrastructure.
