This exploration on foot lets you soak in the history of Bordeaux city center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, leading you to the time-honoured Covered Market, known as the heart and stomach of this capital city of Gironde. The guided exploration culminates with a tasting of a signature dish or dessert from an upcoming culinary maestro in a local restaurant.
Each pit-stop is meticulously chosen several months in advance, tried and tested, and the artisan owners interviewed. When possible, visits to the production locations are also included to offer our guests detailed understanding of the making process.
Included in the tour: coffee (or equivalent), chocolate, sweets, fruits, pastries (two servings), bread, delicacies, cheese, cold cuts, and wine (two glasses). Please do let us know about any food allergies or special diet needs while booking.
The tours are available on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays in English, French, and Spanish.
