You have to experience wine blending if you're visiting France - Highly recommended! Great opportunity to learn about this aspect of wine culture, especially coming from the US where wines are typically single varietals. Blending wasn't covered in any other wine tours or tastings we took in the two weeks we were in France. We took this tour near the end of our trip to France, and it was a good opportunity to review all of the information we learned about wine making and culture. Our host was very informative and English is his native language. We enjoyed meeting our fellow travelers, too.

It was an amazing... - It was an amazing experience. We learned a lot, had tons of fun tasting and creating our own bottle. This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Bordeaux and would highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting. The fact that now I get to bring home a bottle of "my own" wine is something I will always remember. Thank you for everything, it was amazing!

A Must-Do Experience If You Love Wine in Bordeaux! - This was such a fun and memorable experience! It began with a guided tasting of Bordeaux wines, paired with an engaging overview of the region’s history, winemaking traditions, and tasting techniques. Our host, James, was welcoming, knowledgeable, and full of great stories that made the experience both educational and entertaining. We had a wonderful time getting to know our fellow wine lovers and blending our own creations. The highlight was bottling, labeling, and naming our personalized cuvée — a unique and special keepsake to bring home from Bordeaux!

Great experience! - This was a great experience. I am not a sommelier but I do love wine. This was a great experience. James was very knowledgeable about the wines of Bordeaux (and MORE). The make your own cuvee was definitely something worth doing once. It was great to see how the blending completely changes the wine. It was also interesting knowing which regions I would enjoy more based on my cuvee blend. Great Job!

History, Wine, and Fun - The guides give you a history of the bordeaux wines as well as going into depth about why each wine tastes how it does. Everything is explained in a really interesting and fun way, and making our own wine with our new knowledge was such a fantastic experience. Highly recommend

Instructive and humorous - I gave this experience to my spouse for his birthday week. He is a big lover of red wine and I wanted to offer him an original experience. It was an excellent discovery. We were a group of several pairs, we laughed a lot and it was very informative. The price is more than correct and as a bonus we leave with its small bottle assembled ourselves. No trouble, only pleasure. Thank you very much! My spouse was delighted. 🍷

Misrepresentation - This experience was not what was advertised. The title of the experience was making your own cuvée of wine. No cuvée was made. This was actually just a wine tasting with a lecture about Bordeaux wine making.

This experience is not as... - This experience is not as advertised. You do not make your own wine, and it is less than two hours long (not the 2.5 hours that is advertised). We got about three ounces of wine for three different type of wine. While it was informative and the wine we tasted was good, this experience is nothing like it is advertised.
