Bonne voyage - To be honest we weren't expecting too much for the money, but this was quite lovely. An hour and half of floating history, swept by the tide and a font of knowledge churned out by a delightful Jordan, our guide. As for the wine tasting? Well a cheeky white number that titilated the palate and a smooth demour 2015 red that massaged and warmed the throat. The boat itself was clean, tidy and functional. Well done! Ps They stow a number of beers too.

Great way to see Bordeaux - Upon arriving in Bordeaux this was our first tour. It was a great way to see the sights of Bordeaux and get our bearings of the city. The staff were great and very informative of the sights and history of Bordeaux. It was a pleasant way to spend the afternoon sipping wine and enjoying the scenery.

Great hour - We chose the hour and half cruise as time was short .The commentary was very good in English and the wine sommelier was informative, and gave some great tips. Being on the river gave a different perspective in seeing the beautiful buildings along with some history. Good value.

River and wine cruise - Really nice family trip. Lovely cruise along the river looking at the sites of Bordeaux. We tasted two wines (1 white & 1 red). The tour guide was great speaking in both French and English.

Expected more - I would not do it again. I was expecting more from this cruise based on my previous experience. Everyone was standing by the gate (there were no benches to seat) waiting for boarding. The ship boarding started at the time when the cruise was scheduled to start. So, the cruise start time was actually the boarding time which made the actual tour time about 1 h 15 min. In our case we (about 150 or more people) were also waiting for one person running late. I think it was respectfulness to all on board. The city view from the river was very nice. The weather was good and the sun was going down. Everyone was outside on the deck where the main seating area with chairs and chaise lounges is located and where passengers could relax and enjoy sightseeing. Naturally everyone was there. However, there was not enough seats for all and unlucky ones were looking for any spot to stay or seat. It was definitely overcrowded. I could enjoy sightseeing only when no one was standing in front of me. The guide was good and informative for the time allocated. However, commentaries are offered in 2 languages (French and English), so the guide is "with you" only for a half of the allocated time which may not be enough for some curious minds considering the length of the cruise. Wine-tasting was ok. It was one white and one red. However, please expect nothing more than wines. If you want a cracker or a small snack to break the taste, they are offered for purchase only.

Disappointing - Had a warm welcome. Most sat on the top floor but not enough seats for all. The guide spoke in both French and English but unfortunately the sound was muffled so we missed most of the commentary. Was hoping to learn more about Bordeaux but none the wiser by the end of the tour. Be warned, there is very little to see and most of the sights are on the South bank. The glass of white wine was not great but the canele cake was a nice touch. Tour ended 15 mins earlier than advertised but the time we had was plenty for the experience. A sad disappointment and wouldn’t recommend as we saw more sights from walking across Pont de Pierre and along the tree lined path and back over to the south bank via Pont Jacques Chaban Delmas.

Not verify informative - It was a rainy day so our hopes weren't too high for this trip. Mostly French speaking on board so the English version got cut short and abbreviated. Couldn't hear it much anyway because no one shut up and it was way to noisy. To cold to stand outside but the humidity level was high inside and all the windows fogged over so you couldn't see anything the guide was saying anyway so it was completely worthless but she stuck to her speech anyway. A glass of white and cheap red wine and back to dock. Save money, go to a wine bar have a good glass of wine and watch the boat go up and down the river. You'll get better wine at least.
