The trail and waterfalls tour at Estancia Mimosa is designed for fun and nature appreciation. Small groups (up to 12 people), always guided by a specialized tour guide, traverse a 2,800-meter trail where they can observe birds, various animal species, and a wide array of trees. This trail, which winds through the riparian forest of the Mimoso River, crosses dry stream beds, small caves, and eight distinct waterfalls, each offering excellent swimming spots in natural pools. Every waterfall is unique. The abundant fauna, flora, and water enhance the entire experience. Along the way, there are four viewpoints, perfect for admiring the stunning views of the Bodoquena Mountain Range.

Bird Watching:

A fantastic opportunity for both seasoned birdwatchers and novices! Estancia Mimosa is a captivating spot for bird enthusiasts, with tours led by a specialized and bilingual guide. Situated in a region rich in environmental diversity within the Cerrado Biome, Estancia Mimosa boasts over 250 recorded bird species, including some rare ones. The birdwatching tour takes place near the lagoon, as well as in the forest and field areas, early in the morning.

Horseback ride:

For those seeking a deeper connection with nature and a glimpse into local culture, Estancia Mimosa offers horseback riding through the ranch’s forests and fields. This activity is conducted in groups of up to eight people, always accompanied by an experienced guide who shares stories about the region. With gentle, well-trained horses, the ride ensures safety and enjoyment for both children and adults. Experience unforgettable moments of nature immersion!

Estância Mimosa offers its visitors an interpretive trail amidst the forest stopping by eight waterfalls of all sizes and shapes, where you can swim in natural pools. The trail is done in small groups guided by a local specialist guide. Along the way, there are small caves, a diving platform and viewpoints with privileged view to the mountains of the Bodoquena Mountain Range. Adventure of ecotourism with respect to the environment and regional culture!

The trail is done on a Private Reserve Area. The ranch has a certified Safety Management System for Ecotourism Activities and has won several national prizes for its environmental actions and quality of services.

• It is mandatory to use closed comfortable walking shoes for the tour. Neoprene boots are available for rental.
• A current valid passport or ID is required on the day of travel
• Medical restrictions:
• Women up to 24 weeks of pregnancy, must see safety procedures.
• Women with high-risk pregnancy or after 24 weeks of pregnancy cannot participate on the tour.
• For visitors with recent surgery (up to 30 days), epilepsy, asthma, history of anaphylaxis, the participation on the tour is not recommended.
• Visitors with heart problems such as: heart attack, cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, and/or pacemaker; cannot participate on the tour.
