Great Tour! - Joey, the owner, was great in communicating with us prior to the trip. He’s a fun, easy-going guy! Tour was great. Our guide was Kevin. He shared a lot about the wildlife, the mangroves, and how hurricane Ian affected things down there. Kayaking was fun. Got to see two dolphins up close as they headed out from the bay to the ocean. Finished the tour out on the beach where we got to see a ton of birds and do some shelling. We had a great time.

Worthwhile fun trip - Great day on the water! Saw several dolphins but no manatees, unfortunately. Very cool kayaking thru the mangroves. Friendly staff. Enjoyable day.

It’s ok - Joel and Kevin were very friendly. I drove 50min there without knowing Big Hickory Pass was kind of in (close to) the community (city?). I was expecting a kayak with more natural seeings. I should have done some homework before I went. I had a good time and generally considered it was an ok trip. I probably would enjoy more if I had come with a friend (friends), or if I did it in the afternoon instead of 8am in the morning. I am giving 3 stars instead of 4 because I am not a big fan of “giving me 5 stars review then you can have your pictures” rule/idea. I tend to think it’s a friendly gesture and a bonus when a tour guide voluntarily takes pictures. But when this turned into a type of “exchange” for a 5 star review, I started to feel pressured and very uncomfortable. I rather it was not brought up. I prefer to give a review genuinely and independently.

Kayak tour of the very simple kind - Good to find since info via SMS with coordinates. Kayaks i. O. Tour: Paddle 100 m, 30 min. 1 Dolphin "searching" between boat docks 10 - 15 min. paddling with 100 m passage in mangroves. 15 min. paddle to beach. Break with seashell searches about 15 min. Overall rather mixed. Guide - young man on SUP - with little clear instructions. Mostly the question: "Is it good." Manatees are available from May - October; no chance in January. Booked 2.5 h were in real 2 h Sheep; would have been more in it especially as the weather was optimal.
