- Via A. Grazia, 5 - Located 15 km from Bologna’s city center, this activity takes place on an organic farm where participants will prepare traditional Bolognese cuisine. The experience includes hand-mixing eggs and flour, crafting pasta, and seasoning with authentic sauces made on-site. After the cooking session, participants can enjoy their creations in the garden or inside the farmhouse. Additionally, a traditional dessert will be prepared to take home. Seasonal courses are offered, and the menu is decided collaboratively based on the season.
The activity begins at 2:30 pm, with a meeting point at Via Santo Stefano 14 in the city center. Participants will be transported to the Bolognese hills, 15 km from Bologna. The cooking session concludes around 6 pm, followed by a tasting of the prepared dishes until 7:30 pm, after which participants will be returned to the city center.

Best pasta cooking class ever! - Super hostile hosting from Elizabeta and her Family.
We made some pasta varieties and all her tips and tricks make this cooking class so precious.
We had a great day with her and her daughter.
İf you visit Bologna, this cooking class is a must!!!

Once in a lifetime experience! - If you love cooking Italian and a beautiful hillside setting, this is a must! We were greeted in Bologna by Flaminia and driven to the family villa in the hills outside of Bologna. Elizabetta (Mom) was delightful and taught us how to make make authentic bolognese, two types of pasta, and then shaping and filling tortellini. We cooked while listening to Italian music and drinking delicious wines.
Then we ate - absolutely amazing!

Flaminia welcomed us into... - Flaminia welcomed us into her home with warmth and passion for her subject. She interjected stories of her family history, culture, and recipe ingredients which culminated in a delicious meal of our own creation! We thank her for her guidance and kindness, and highly recommend the experience to anyone.

Incredible experience - I am so grateful to have been able to attend this cooking class with this extremely kind and welcoming family. It was so nice to hear the history of the area, immerse into some more of the culture, and eat such a delicious meal in their beautiful garden. This was definitely a major highlight of the trip.

Incredible Day!! - One of our biggest goals while in Italy was to immerse ourselves in the true culture! Not the touristy parts! It was for this reason that I booked the is specific tour while in Bologna! After all- where could be better to do a cooking class than Bologna?! My husband and our two teenage children attended and it was one of two highlights of our trip! The family is delightful and extremely accommodating. The food and drinks were delicious! We learned exactly what we needed to do to be able to come home and make the pasta at home and we have done that a few times now! Beyond the cooking- the views from the house are incredibly and my husband too many pictures of the beautiful scenery! Everything about the tour was incredible and if we are ever back in Italy! We would sign up again for another class! Don’t miss out on an incredible experience!

A Storybook Evening to End Our Trip – Unforgettable Pasta Experience - On our last night in Italy, we joined a pasta-making class about 30 minutes outside of Bologna—and it was truly special. The chef’s home and property looked like something off a postcard. It was so beautiful it almost didn’t feel real—rolling hills, garden views, and a peaceful setting that instantly made you slow down and soak it all in.
What made the experience unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of the chef and her daughter. They welcomed us into their home with such warmth and joy, it felt like spending the evening with extended family. Their love for cooking and for sharing their culture was obvious in every moment—and it made the experience feel deeply personal.
Our group had six adults (including four in their 20s), and we all had a blast. Even more telling - our seventh group member was on his third visit to this class. That says everything you need to know.
It wasn’t rushed or overly structured—just a relaxed, hands-on evening full of laughter, learning, and truly amazing food. The dinner we shared at the end might’ve been the best of our entire trip.
Looking back, it wasn’t just a class—it was a memory we’ll talk about for years. The perfect way to wrap up our Italian adventure.
Just book it. You’ll thank yourself later.

An absolutely magical, completely unforgettable experience. - This was one of the most magical experiences I've ever had. The hosts were so kind, knowledgeable, and patient. Their property was unbelievably stunning, and their dogs were so friendly!
It's apparent how passionate they are about food and cooking. I felt a sense of honor learning how to make tortoloni with them. A feeling of gratitude I've never felt for food before.
To get to their house, the sisters Flavia and Flaminia pick you up in their car and drive you to their property. Along the way, they tell you about the history of Bologna, which I was not expecting. They were so kind!
Elisabetta, the chef and matriarch of the family, an awarded chef, was an honor to learn from.
This is an experience I will never forget, and I have endless gratitude for the family. I'll also never forget the recipe! It was delicious
In my opinion, this was a perfect experience and I highly highly recommend it. To learn someone's family recipe that has been passed down multiple generations is love.
