Class held directly in... - Class held directly in her home! She was great and the class was easily understood and the food incredible. Her family helped and was very nice as well! Highly recommend!!!!!

Fabulous authentic pasta making experience! - This was an amazing authentic cooking experience with a delightful Bologna native who welcomed us into her home. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and everyone produced delicious pasta. The friendly group atmosphere enhanced the experience and highlighted food as the centre of connection for Italians. I would highly recommend this experience!

Just like learning from Mom, and just as tasty - My high school-aged son and I did this together and really enjoyed it. The host was a good teacher, and taught in a way that makes it easy to remember. She also provided additional recipes for use when we get home. Three other duos were also part of the class. Sharing the learning as well as a meal together made the experience more fun as well.

Absolutely the Best!!! - My wife and I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. If we could give it more than 5 stars, we would!! Irene was absolutely fabulous as a host and teacher. Her patience and encouragement of our efforts made the experience so much fun and the lunch that followed was absolutely delicious as we ate the fruits of our labours. The bolognese sauce we had with tagaliatelle was absolutely delicious, far better than what we had the previous evening at a restaurant. We cannot recommend this tour highly enough if you want an authentic experience on your visit to this beautiful city! Thank you, Irene, we can’t wait to try out our new pasta making skills once we get home!

Family cooking with Irene - Everything about the cooking class was great, good value for money, excellent teaching, fun, homely. The family enjoyed every minute of it and can’t recommend it more highly. Irene and family were beautiful to be around and we thank you so much, hopefully one day we will be back.

Irene was lovely, the rest was crazy! - This was the most bizarre experience of our lives, literally! No where does it say this is a small one story apartment. We were late because we couldn’t find it, which should have been a sign to run, but we didn’t. Even though there were no signs or no markings, we did find it and went in to their sweet lady’s home. I believe it was her and her adult son there. It was very uncomfortable!!!! We did stay, made the pasta (which did turn out good -best part of the evening) but then her husband and grand daughter got home and it just got weirder…. They all went in the kitchen and were fighting and cussing at each other. The grand daughter stormed off and went to her room first, then maybe 10 minutes later the adult son cussed at her and went to his room also. Whole things was odd!!! Couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Also, two cats were talking around which is fine, but I had cat hair in my second dish. Would NOT recommend! If it was just Irene home it would have been wonderful. Or maybe the others should just stay in their rooms if they are going to fight with her. Again BIZARRE!!!!! And for the price no way!!!!
