- Huatajata - Upon arrival in Huatajata, you will visit the Totora Museum, which showcases various expeditions of TOTORA rafts that have sailed the world’s oceans and rivers.
You can also purchase crafts made from totora, such as decorative small rafts.
After exploring the local museum, enjoy a lunch featuring fresh trout, a local specialty. Later, board a boat to the Island of Pariti, where you will visit the Archaeological Museum. This museum displays a variety of valuable ceramics from the Tiwanakota culture (classic period 500 to 800 AD).

Its coastlines and minor islands are home to the indigenous Aymara and Quechua people, descendants from antiquated civilizations that were present much before the dominance of the Incas. A unique feature of Lake Titicaca is the miniature islands that float, inhabited by the Uros tribe.
