Pilanesberg National Park Full-Day Tour

Pilanesberg National Park - Guests are picked up at 6:00 am from any location in Johannesburg or Pretoria, and we embark on a 2-hour drive to Pilanesberg National Park. Along the way, guests can enjoy the scenic landscape and pass through charming mining villages. Upon arrival, we begin our morning adventure with a 6-7 hour guided game drive in an open safari vehicle. During the drive, guests will marvel at the stunning landscapes of Pilanesberg Park and the diverse wildlife, flora, and fauna. Lunch is provided within the park at Pilanesberg Centre (lunch included). After lunch, the drive continues until approximately 3:00 pm, after which we return to Johannesburg. (END)

Johannesburg, Soweto, and Apartheid Museum Tour

Johannesburg and Soweto Township Tours - On the second day, we embark on a full-day tour of Johannesburg, Soweto, and the Apartheid Museum (Note: This tour is unavailable on Mondays and Tuesdays due to the Apartheid Museum’s closure). The tour begins at Houghton Estate, the residence of Mandela in Johannesburg, followed by a drive to Constitutional Hill for a 1-hour guided tour. We then proceed through downtown Johannesburg, stopping at Chancellor House (Mandela & Tambo Attorneys), and continue to Soweto Township for a 2-3 hour exploration. Stops include Orlando Towers, informal settlements, Vilakazi Street (Mandela & Tutu houses), Baragwanath Hospital, hostels, three different classes of Soweto, and the Hector Pieterson Memorial sites. Guests can choose between a light lunch or local cuisine. The tour concludes with a visit to the Apartheid Museum for a 2-3 hour experience. (END)
