Great Tour - Angela was great to work with setting up a private/VIP tour for a bachelorette AND our tour guide KayShawna was so dang cute. Shes a teacher by trade and I live in Idaho but she taught us lots about the capitol while enjoying lots of cute spots in Boise.

Best way to learn about a city - I always check out food tours in new cities. This is a good one. Bob, my tour guide was knowledgeable about the city and fun to talk with and get to know. The food represented the area, was filling and good! We were offered soda at the first stop, half glass of wine on the second and a full glass at the third -- would have liked full pours at both stops. We had dessert at the fourth stop and didn't need a drink. I actually took it to go and went to a bar to enjoy with a glass of Prosecco.

Not worth the $$$ - Very disappointing! First stop- French fries, 1/2 of a burger, water Second stop- 1/2 chorizo sandwich-nothing to drink Third stop- appetizers & one small sampling of wine at an Italian restaurant Fourth stop- three tastings of chocolates from a confectionery! Nothing to drink The guide apologized because there was a large festival ~ this festival was for six days and was promoted for over a year! They DID NOT PERFORM as promised or promoted! How can we receive a refund? BTW… We learned more about Boise, ID from the local $22 trolley tour!

Worst Food Tour Ever - Disappointed with both the food and our tour guide. When I signed up, I selected the vegetarian dropdown option on Fareharbor, when the tour guide read it on her phone at the first stop, she didn’t know what lactose ovo meant. I told her that eggs and dairy were OK. You would think that a tour guide would know and understand what dietary restrictions the tour company catered. It appeared she confused restaurant staff at the Italian restaurant, who had the impression I was lactose intolerant. But what really made me UPSET and ANGRY, was the fact that at the first stop I got a half a veggie burger, but instead of serving half of a réguler beef burger, my partner got the other half of my veggie burger. My partner who is not vegetarian, got a veggie burger anyway. It wasn’t disclosed until we questioned it. I don’t blame the tour guide for this, this was a management decision - simply to save a couple of bucks. That is the one and only reason why I would never recommend Indulge Boise Food Tours and why I am writing this review now. Advertised as six or more tastings, but only stopped at 3 restaurants plus a chocolate shop. Not only were the portions small, but the food was tasteless. We throw the chocolates away. The only thing that was good was the mocktail at the Italian restaurant. Alcohol beverage package absolutely not worth it. Overpriced. We left hungry. I've done a dozen+ food tours and this offered the lowest value by far. Regarding the tour guide. Way too much chatter about herself and her family, none of it particularly funny banter. The delivery of actual information was rote. She appeared to know only what was scripted. When we asked about an interesting old building across the street, she said it’s not part of the tour, but she did often wonder herself what the building was originally used for. After that we gave up asking questions. She asked two 55yo if we knew what a speakeasy was or if we heard of the Great Gatsby. I was really surprised when the tour guide ordered fritters for herself at the second stop and then slyly sneaked bites as we ate our samples. More surprising still was when she carried her take out to the next restaurant and continued to sneak bites while at that restaurant. Guide arrived 15 minutes late, although she did call.
