Great for solo travelers - I went to Bogota as a solo traveler. I felt the most connected to the city and the culture when I spent time with Andrea, my friend from this service. Highly recommend!

Excellent personalized tour experience. - Spent 5 hours with Andrea a lovely, very knowledgeable guide from Bogotá. We visited the Gold Museum and walked in the Chapinero district. Rent a friend was excellent because I was able to pick the things I wanted to do and we were able to make adjustments on the fly. Andrea’s knowledge was excellent as well she was very open to discussing past and current life in Bogotá.

I really enjoyed my... - I really enjoyed my experience with my guide, one. I don’t think I would’ve felt near as comfortable traveling through the city by myself without his intimate knowledge and assistance. Highly recommend recommended tour.

Best Local Tour Ever! - We did two tours with Zebra Fisgona and they were absolutely both amazing experiences! The first tour was on our second day in Bogota and we did the "Rent a Friend" tour. As it being my wife's first time and second (47 years later) we wanted a personal guide to show us not only the neighbor we were staying, but also the surrounding areas as well and from a locals perspective. That is exactly what we got. We expressed our interests and our tour was curated to that. Our guide was beyond awesome and as all thing go super accommodating, patient (we had a slight mishap with losing a phone, and she saved the day!) full of knowledge and was down to make this such a special day for us. We loved how flexible the tour was and how we did not have to follow a full itinerary (which we could have)! Upon knowing that we wanted to experience Ciclovia, Aleja showed us how to download and use the app, and then proceeded to take us on an impromptu bike ride thru the city to the next stop on the tour! I think It was probably the highlight of the tour if not one of the best memories of the trip, so randomly awesome. Doing the "Rent a Friend" tour was really one of the best things we could have done not only for the experience, but to also feel that much more confident in exploring the city on our own, we highly recommend it!
Zebra Fisgono Tours was the best! So happy we did the tours we did and wish we had time to do more. Both tours we knew we were in good hands, felt safe, had fun and learned a lot! Aleja & Andrea were so great and were available to chat throughout our stay, offering insight and destination tips. We plan on returning and doing one of the more extensive excursions they are planning, we can't wait!

Best tour for a woman traveling solo!! - Best decision for a woman traveling solo!! I learned about this beautiful city through a truly magical experience: I had fun, I felt safe, I ate delicious food, and I learned about this city’s incredible history.
I accompanied my parter on a business trip to Bogota and was concerned about touring around solo. I had never been to Bogota and I don’t speak Spanish. I booked the Rent A Local Friend 6-hour experience for 2 days, hoping to just get out of my hotel room. What I got was so much more! I left Bogota with a newfound passion for the vibrant culture, rich history, delicious food, and beautiful people. Day 1 was spent with Juani touring the Paloquemao Market and tasting the local fruit (many of which cannot be found in the US). Juani was so patient with all my questions while also helping me learn local etiquette (close car doors softly). She was flexible with our itinerary, shifting plans when I asked to taste her favorite empanadas and experience a local treat - hot chocolate with melted cheese – yum! Day 2 was spent with Aleja touring La Candelaria. I had interest in seeing the incredible art and learning about the history behind the area. Aleja was also flexible with our itinerary, selecting a lunch spot for me to experience the best Ajiaco I’ve ever tasted and pausing to let me explore local craft shops we passed along the way. Both Juani and Aleja have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the history of their city, and both share a passion for helping travelers experience this incredible place. I’ve been raving about the Rent A Friend experience to everyone I know and cannot recommend this company and these two guides enough!!

Best Private Tour Ever - Aleja provided the best private tour I have ever done during my travels. Before my arrival in Bogota, the company asked me about my interests, which are in art. Then, Aleja brought me around the historic center to churches and art museums that I would not have found without her guidance. She was so fun to chat with and even brought me to a historical church within the presidential compound, which no tourist would know how to access by themselves. Thank you so much , Aleja!!

Great time! - Great concept to do what you want but with someone who speaks the language and knows the city and shopping which we loved. Juani picked us up at our hotel then took us shopping, helped translate, hold my bags and give opinions about the fashion, uniqueness and also shopped for emeralds. Juani gave us a great intro into Bogota.

Enrichment <3 - Absolutely the best thing I decided to do for my short stay in Bogota. My rent a friend/guide was Juani and she was phenomenal! I learned so much about Colombia, the city of Bogota, the culture of the city and the culture of the country and its people, etc. I love how my experience was not set in stone, it felt natural and almost go with the flow. 100% the market experience was my absolute favorite thing. I got to try so many new fruits I have never even heard of, chirimoya for life! the best fruit I have ever experienced. Juani took me around to look at murals, walk the streets, we both even tried a new cafe that was absolutely wonderful. "Fragmentos: Espacio de Arte y Memoria," blew me away and Juani went into the history of the space and installation, it was marvelous and I felt enriched by the whole experience. Honestly whenever I come back to Bogota I would absolutely book a Zebra tour again, they offer so many experiences that I want to try them all.
