A charming museum offering a multitude of works in a beautiful historic house - I am a big fan of Botero so I was pleased to be able to admire so many paintings and sculptures in one place and few visitors as bonuses in a beautiful old house in Spanish style.A visit not to be missed.I will soon go to Medellín and will be able to admire other sculptures on display in a beautiful park there.Like the other hand.

Vibrant Museum - I love the vibrancy of this establishment with it's gardens and creative paintings. A must-visit if you're in town for a few days.

Botero's art is beautiful - Free entry museum. It is the house of one of the most beautiful paintings collection. We have visited with our kid who was amused by the forms and shapes. From the Botero museum you can go to the next museums(free) just walking in.

A WONDERFUL MUSEUM FILLED WITH TREASURES AND THE WORKS OF THE COLOMBIAN GREAT ARTIST BOTERO - Located in a monastery like setting is a museum purchased by BOTERO and donated to the city of Bogota and filled with the artist’s personal art collection and his monumental works! I think it is free ! The art includes Picasso and impressionists plus Boteros paintings and monumental sculptures! A MUST VISIT IN BOGOTA

Botero and beauty round - This museum is free. Besides the artist’s own works (of which I’m not a fan), there’s part of his personal collection and that’s great. For once, no crowds in front of the Mona Lisa... but it's Botero's...

Huge! - An extraordinary library! Of course there are all aspects of Botero's talent, although there are few monumental sculptures. But there are also major works by Picasso, Dali, Moore, Giacometti, Caillebotte, Delvaux and many others. The lighting is perfect, the presentation very successful. A great moment!

Unmissable - To be honest, Botero's work wasn't one of my favorites. I arrived at the Museum almost by chance and I must say that I found it a truly fascinating experience, not only for the quality of the exhibition but for the level of the works and the collection. It really is an unmissable of the vast cultural offer that Colombia has to surprise! During the week the Expo has a minimum admission fee, however on Sunday admission is free.

Not over until the fat lady sings. - Thankfully in Botero Museo that fat lady never stops singing, nor the fat man, kids, etc. The early Boteros, classic Boteros, etc. are worth the trip, in and of themselves alone. The bonus are some of the Post-Impressionist and Modern works that found their way here, as well as many other South American lesser known amazing artists. Whereas in Paris, one might be appalled at the touching of the art in the great museums, here one might find the social media obsessed crowds vieing for selfies and space to set up virtual photo studios a bit off-putting.

Another inexcusable visit in Bogota - A very varied collection of works by this artist, always so entertaining. If you're passionate about Botero you'll love it. And if not, too.
