- Bodrum Castle - Your guide will be waiting to meet you at the port. After you’ve been welcomed, your guide will take you to Bodrum Castle which is known as the Castle of St. John, it sits high on a rocky peninsula on the site of the original Carian settlement. St Peters Castle, set in the harbor with five imposing towers and seven gates. The castle is home to the Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology and you will visit its many fascinating displays including the dungeon, secret museum in the Snake Tower, German, English, and French towers, and a hall with ancient coins and jewelry.
- Windmills - After the Mausoleum, we will visit the windmills near Bodrum harbor. Windmills made of stone and lined with wooden planks, and were used from the 18th century until the 70s by local people. They’re being renovated as a tourist attraction on the hill and our guide will be stopping to take pictures.
- Bodrum Amphitheater - The next stop will be the Ancient Theatre of Halicarnassos, dated back to the 4th century BC with a 5.000 capacity.
- Etrim Halicilik - As final, you will have chance to experience a real village-life in Turkey. We would like to introduce you to the local cultural aspects of Bodrum by showing handmade Carpet & rug art.

Perfect tour to learn about Bodrum beyond just the tourist area - The tour was excellent! We hit all the major stops, got to learn a lot about the history of the area, and stopped in a local village for a delicious lunch. Our guide, Ferudun, was a wealth of information and interesting facts and we had a great day with him. Highly recommend!

Bodrum - An Excellent Spot for History and Entertainment - My wife and I booked a 33-day adventure through Türkiye. As part of our tour, we booked the “Private Bodrum Shore Excursion.” This was a private trip arranged by Smart Türkiye Tours and guided by Selçuk Kaya. Given the overall duration of our trip, we worked with Selçuk to tailor this segment to focus on our interests. Bodrum is a bustling city on the southwest coast of Türkiye. The marina and castle areas are very lively with many shops, restaurants and bars. The Bodrum Castle and Underwater Archeological Museum were fascinating. The castle is well preserved and presents its history with thoughtful displays.
Overall, it was a marvelous trip made even better by the attention and guidance of Selçuk. He is a great person and guide. He was with us for the entire 33-day journey. Selçuk was very helpful regarding all travel necessities providing recommendations for restaurants, local dishes, and options for coffee and tea. He helped with ATMs, mailing postcards, and even identifying laundry locations. We highly recommend Selçuk!

⭐ Exceptional Bodrum Experience – Professional, Reliable & Truly Enjoyable - We had a fantastic day in Bodrum thanks to this very well-organized private tour.
From the beginning, everything felt professional and smooth. The team clearly has a lot of experience with cruise guests, and that gave us great peace of mind. Our guide was excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great time.
We visited all the major highlights like Bodrum Castle and the ancient theater, but what stood out most was how relaxed and personalized the experience felt. There was no rush, and we could enjoy each stop at our own pace.
The service quality was outstanding throughout the day, from the comfortable vehicle to the perfect timing back to the port.
You can tell this is a company that knows what they are doing. We would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bodrum on a cruise.

Very nice excursion in Bodrum - We had booking with Vip Bodrum Tours via Viator and everything just great. We met with our guide at the port on time and enjoy our time in Bodrum during the day. After the tour back to port on time. We recommend this company.

Wonderful Private Bodrum Tour! - I booked a private Bodrum tour with the same company, and once again everything was excellent. I was picked up directly from my hotel in Bodrum, and the service was smooth, punctual, and very comfortable.

A day well spent in Bodrum Turkey - The tour met all expectations. The guide was knowledgeable, excited and passionate about the local history. We got picked up and dropped off on time. All experiences were memorable. We were out and about most of our port time site seeing and experiencing the local vibe. Definitely recommend to anyone trying to make the most of the port time or a day in Bodrum

Fabulous tour with Dennis - Dennis was an excellent tour guide. His knowledge about the history of the sites and country was fantastic. He made it all so easy to understand and remember. We traveled with our autistic adult son and Dennis' patience and kindness were greatly appreciated!

A nice day trip with Vip Bodrum Tours! - We visit Bodrum city during our cruise holiday. We booked tour excursion a month before with Vip Bodrum Tours and they do not request any deposit which is suprised me! Anyway we met with our guide Selcukk easily. He was friendly and informed. We loved Bodrum by the way. We learned this is a resort city and we want to come back and stay longer here. I can recommend this company to anyone who will visit Bodrum. Our day trip went just great!
