- Island Organics Thai Cooking Class Koh Samui - At ‘Island Organics Thai Cooking Class,’ Chef Lat will guide you in preparing four traditional Thai dishes that are simple to recreate at home. Additionally, you will learn to make coconut cream, curry paste, and a herbal drink. Participants will have the opportunity to prepare and cook their own meals!
Chef Lat will also take you on a tour of our micro farm, where we cultivate Thai herbs, vegetables, fruits, and mushrooms. You will also learn about Moringa, known as the miracle tree, which is now available for purchase as a powder or in capsule form.
Our produce is primarily grown on-site, allowing us to focus on ‘Thai favorites’ and providing you with an authentic Thai culinary experience.

A must do every trip to Koh Samui - We recently did the cooking class at Island Organics Samui, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip.
From the moment we arrived, Chef Lat and her team were incredible. They ran everything like a well-oiled machine, yet still made the whole experience feel very personal and relaxed. Every step was clearly explained, and even though wok cooking is fast-paced, they made it easy to follow—as long as you listened carefully, you couldn’t go wrong.
What really stood out was Chef Lat herself. She is a genuinely beautiful person, and hearing her story and learning about how she grows her own produce was inspiring. You can tell there’s real passion behind everything she does.
I also picked up some unexpected tips—especially a great trick to improve my worm farm tea back home, which I never expected from a cooking class!
We were lucky enough to be the last class before they begin renovating the kitchen to make it even better. If I’m back in Koh Samui, I’ll definitely be returning to learn more dishes and see the new setup.

Excellent experience! - excellent experience! very well organized and structured. chef let and her staff are very well prepared, efficient, and conduct a seamless class from beginning to end. the food prepared is super delicious, and instructions are easy to follow. the garden is super special and quite impressive. i would highly recommend this unique experience of a true farm to table to anyone in Koh Samui looking for a fun activity.

Top experience- very enjoyable and informative - We thoroughly enjoyed the hours spent at Island Organics! We learned a lot about combining Thai herbs and spices and the beautiful flavours of soups, curries and other dishes. One can feel Lat’s passion and hard work that she has and continues to pour into this project. Very commendable. We made our own yummy dishes. Fabulous and fun learning. Treat yourself to a wonderful half day! Thank you Lat and team!

Fantastic, well organised and fun experience! - We had a wonderful time with Lat. she is super funny and a fantastic host. We had / made great food in a fun and easy way. Their communication was good!

Most educational organic cooking class thanks to Lat. Food is delicious using organic ingredients from her farm. - Lat was an excellent teacher with clear instructions and has a great sense of humour. She is very well prepared and has the class running like clockworks. She is dedicated to her craft and her ability to create all the sauces and the moringa power and tablets is exceptional as she has so little time after her classes. She is an amazing person who has achieved so much in the short time she has lived on her farm. She started from nothing and made this into such a beautiful place from farm to fork with all her ingredients to pick right there on the organic farm. She also has her own chickens and has fresh eggs everyday. She even has her own worm farm. I learnt a lot from Lat as part of her course she showed us how to grow from seed and use hay to protect the seed from being burnt from the hot sun. Thanks you so much Lat. Wishing you more success as each class we learnt different dishes. She also gives back to the community and provides free cooking classes for primary school kids. Lat has a heart of gold.

Definitely a must try! - One of our favourite experiences we did in Koh Samui! Really loved this experience!
Chef Lat is super friendly and knowledgeable and made the cooking class a lot of fun!
Come hungry because you make a lot of food and it’s all delicious you can’t leave anything!

Excellent food and location - All the food and demonstrations were excellent , shown how to make each dish together , staff were amazing Lat made the whole experience and I would encourage anyone thinking of a cooking experience to do this one its the best.

Amazing cooking class we can totally recommend - We loved the amazing experience we had by meeting Chief Lat and her amazing polite and perfect organized team. The kitchen class was so perfectly organized the athmosphere was great and we took so many learnings and emotions with us and come back next year
