10:00 AM: Arrive at Ham Luong dock, board the boat, and cruise along the Ham Luong River, a tributary of the Mekong River. The refreshing breeze from the river and the lush tropical islands along its banks will immediately inspire excitement for the adventures ahead.
Upon arrival, visit various local workplaces to discover wonderful examples of how locals use traditional techniques to craft items such as activated charcoal, dried coconut, handy coconut husk brooms, and many family businesses using coir, or coconut fiber, to create stunning art. Travel around the village roads by “Xe Lôi,” a local motorized rickshaw. Enjoy kayaking through the lush tropical canal.
