Once in a life time experience - My trip to Iceland was truly unforgettable. I felt I was in another planet with dramatic landscapes, waterfalls, volcanoes, glacies, black-sand beaches and NORTHERN LIGHTS! I joined a group of 16 people. Hjalti was our guide for 4 days. He made our trip amazing! It is a once in lifetime scenery and experience. Weather was the only challenge I faced! It was too cold for someone who is too used to the weather in South-East Asia.

Awesome Artic Adventures Tour - Lili was the best guide! We had an amazing time. This itinerary covered all the places I was hoping to see, we even got lucky for aurora. Lots of breaks for bathroom, buying snacks , lunch etc. Comfortable small bus. Highly recommend but be flexible!

Worth going on a longer tour to see more of Iceland - We went on the 4 day trip and it was a bit expensive, but so glad we did. The guides were brilliant and so knowledgeable. From local customs, to showing how Iceland cope with volcanoes and earth tremors. To humorous stories about hanging out your bra and Elves and Trolls!! The only issue I had was the last day was very long. We got picked up at 8am for the volcano tour. Another brilliant tour that included a 10km hike, the guide was so informative and interesting. However we got dropped off at 6pm, to then be told we would be picked up again at 8pm for a 4 hour northern lights tour. After been up since 6am to pack and gave breakfast the thought of staying out till at least midnight was too much and we dropped out of the last part. Luckily we had already seen the lights. But an 18 hour tour day was a bit much. We recommend this tour to find out what a fascinating country Iceland is.

Best time of my life! - G was a great guide who was meticulous with managing the itinerary and time. We hit all the spots with clear instructions and some local insight into the attractions. He was knowledgable, helpful, and overall very friendly and personable with some dry humour sprinkled in like a true Icelandic local. I had an amazing time and would recommend this tour for anyone. The glacier hike by Yvor(sp?) was one to remember, and the team paid such great care in gearing us up, I felt safe every step of the very icy way. It was also highly informative and highlighted an urgent need to protect these sensitive reservoirs. Yvor was very helpful especially to the slower members of the group (me) and took some very professional photos of us! Though we did not manage to see the northern lights on this tour, the guide by Arctic Adventurous was very nice, warm and kind, staying outside in the bitter cold while we sought shelter in the bus for warmth. He did not give up till the end, and while i was disappointed, i was also touched by the care he took of us.

Wonderful family holidays with Arctic Adventures in Iceland. - Our 4d3n land tour for our family of 6 (with 2 teenagers) was well-organized including online messages were promptly received within couple of hours with Arctic Adventures when we had queries. We left a little disappointed because we could not find the auroras during the northern night tour. Planners should leave a few days later because it could be rescheduled for the following day if the northern light hunt was unsuccessful. Iceland has nature at vast display. So many wows here and it is unforgettable. Some of our best memories are from Iceland. Thank you All.

fantastic arctic adventures - I had a wonderful experience of 4 days of tour around the Golden Circle and the south coast of Iceland. This is my first time ever in Iceland but I think without a doubt that I chose the best tour operator, I want to thank the guides for their preparation, organization and sympathy. I recommend you to my friends and if I come back I will choose Artic Adventures again.

Our south coast adventure - My boyfriend and I chose the 4-day Golden Circle, South Coast, Volcano hike and Northern lights tour with Arctic Adventures. The first 3 days was a tour with our amazing Arctic Adventures guide Kacper! Our tour began with us being picked up from our hotel in a minibus. Our group was 18 amazing people that we got to connect with on our trip! We then headed to Thingvellir National Park on day one. We got to see the Geysir and Gullfoss waterfall. We had plenty of time to explore the area and Kacper made several stops along the way on each day for bathroom breaks and niche bakeries and shops for us to have coffee and pastries. We stayed at the Adventure Geirland hotel on day one and two in a cozy cabin and Kacper booked an amazing dinner for us all for the nights. Day two we made several stops to see beautiful waterfalls and scenery! The stops along the was perfect because we truly got to see the Iceland lowlands. We then stopped at two lagoons and saw many many glaciers that really made you appreciate and admire the beauty of our planet and this beautiful country! Diamond beach was a sight but we didn’t not see the many diamonds you would see on the pictures but plenty was still around. Day three we did our glacier hike at Katla Ice Cave! Kacper was not our hiking guide here but he drove us near the transfer to an off-road jeep with an experienced glacier guide that provide us with chains for our boots and was very attentive during the walk to the glacier and inside the cave while giving us time to take pictures and admire the many layers of this glacier. We then made our way to black sand beach where we had some lunch and then to see the Rutshellir cave which was occupied by early settlers of Iceland! We then made our way back to Reykjavik where everyone was dropped off at their respective stops. Hotel Ísland Spa was our accommodation for the night before the Volcano hike and Northern lights tour. The Volcano hike was with a different company and guide and included exploring many volcanic fields but we did not get to see fresh lava or the active volcano - this was more of a walk in the fields and a stop to see blue lagoon. Our Northern Lights tour ended up being cancelled due to unfavorable weather conditions but we are able to get a refund for this. To end this review, our tour of South Iceland was an amazing adventure and we could not have been able to see the beauty of Iceland without our amazing tour guide Kacper! -Maneesha (who wrote this review) and Myron

Great tour - My husband & I booked the 4 day Iceland tour and had an excellent time! We really lucked out because the weather was pretty rough for most of our trip (extreme winds and snow!), but our guide, Siggi, was able to navigate us out of Reykjavik & still showed us a wonderful time. He had to switch up some of the itinerary, but we felt so lucky to have an experienced native help us with this tour - we would not have been able to read road closures & weather & to pivot to other activities the way he did.

Difficult communication and poor quality of service - Bad communication. They don't respond to the emails and when they respond take days. One of my tours was cancelled and they don't make the refund. Also the tour does not have a specific guide. The driver is the guide himself and keeps talking by the bus sound system which is terrible. In addition, we took a multi-day tour focusing on Aurora Boreal, but we only have Hunt for Aurora Boreal in half the days, in the rest we need to solve ourselves.
