A fantastic trip - Absolutely incredible experience with Arctic Adventures and the guide Hjalti Bjornsson. The pick up from the bus stop was easy and the instructions were super clear. Be aware that they are extremely punctual at every stop. Do not be late by even a minute. We saw so many sites and the weather was perfect for most of the days. Our guide even took us on some stops that were not in the itinerary, but ones he thought were interesting and on the way, like the power plants and some other waterfalls. The bus ride was very smooth with plenty of room and the seats were comfortable. The itinerary was well thought out with a great mix of light walking about 3 - 6 miles per day depending on how much you wanted to walk to each site. Some sites like the glacier Skaftafellsjokull (optional) were further away (4 ish miles), while others were much closer (1000ft). The hotel was situated in a beautiful location with sheep everywhere and interesting rock formations. The hotel was very comfortable with hot water and plenty of space to spread out. Our guide was extremely friendly and knowledgable. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone between the ages 10 - 70. However, this might not be the best experience for those with mobility issues as there is walking to some of the best sites.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Hjalti was a phenomenal guide, with a wealth of knowledge in everything Icelandic and then some. Hjalti goes above and beyond to give you the “full Icelandic experience” whether it’s tips, tricks, or mini adventures he’s your guide! He was also wonderful with our 9year old daughter on the trip. Showed her all the wonderful views, chatted, and even got her an early birthday present. “The Yule Lads” book. Which was incredibly kind. Hjalti is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ family guide. Wether it’s hiking up a mountain side, chasing glaciers, chatting with kids on everything that’s Icelandic. Or swapping fishing stories at the Dining Hall. It’s a Trip we will never forget. Greats experience! Great guide!! - Great experience! Incredible guide Hjalti Bjornsson - very knowledgeable, experienced and very professional! The 2 night accommodation was lovely - Clean, comfortable, modern interior, bucolic location with lambs grazing in the meadows. We were a family of 4 (parents and 20+ yo old boy & girl. Covered incredible sights in 3d - we wouldn’t had been able see so much on our own in such a short Time.

Group of 5-grandparents, parents, and 9 year old -perfect way to experience Iceland - Hjalti was a fantastic tour guide. He gave us great information at each stop and added a few “small stops “ that were truly a bonus. Hotel accommodation was clean and spacious rooms. Our 9 year old granddaughter was with her parents and the triple room was perfect. If you were a group of three willing to share a bathroom the room would be very nice. Food at hotel was excellent, breakfast was included and dinner choices covered all the bases. Note: not tv in rooms but you are so exhausted there’s no time for tv! Truly a great tour and such a great value-but best part was Hjalti as our tour guide.

Amazing trip and great guide - Amazing trip, I highly recommend this tour. My nine year old enjoyed everyday and absolutely loved the ice cave tour. We would usually be on the road about 8am because there was so much to see. Our tour guide, Hjalti, did an amazing job and was very welcoming to us. My nine year old will be taking about this for years.

Excellent Golden Circle & South Coast Tour with Magga - We had a terrific tour to the Golden Circle and South Coast. Visited all the highlights plus some extras, with plenty of walks and hikes along the way so driving didn’t seem long. Mercedes Coach was new and luxurious. Hotel was adequate in a scenic location next to a sheep farm. Dinner was very good, breakfast pretty basic. What made this tour outstanding was our guide Magga - she was very knowledgeable not only about the sights but also educated us on Icelandic history and culture and left us with a real love of Iceland. We will be back and book Arctic Adventures again.
