Well designed trip. Guide Oskar is excellent. - Tour is well-designed. Time efficient to visit key attractions. Our guide Oskar did an exceptional job. He told us many Icelandic fun facts and introduced the places we visited. He is very knowledgeable of the area and knows exactly how much time to leave for each stop and also changed the route slightly sometimes to accomodate the weather conditions accordingly which was very helpful. The only slight downside about the tour is the Glacier hike didn't include the "dreamy" "blue" ice caves shown in the photos, we only hiked on the glacier and walked inbetween some crevasses. So this is something to look out for if this is the main thing you come for. Overall great experience, all the staff are great and helpful.

Amazing sights and relaxed way to visit Iceland. - We had an amazing time on the tour. It is absolutely magical and so many great sites. Osker our guide was extremely helpful and informative. He also had the time to stop at each place down to the minute, so we never felt rushed or were waiting to get back on the bus.

Fantastic Tour, would recommend! - My husband and I had a fantastic experience on the 3 day tour of the Golden Circle and South Coast with a glacier hike. Gunnar was a very knowledgeable Icelandic guide, the bus was brand new, and the sites were beautiful! He showed us way more than we could have seen on our own. We especially loved getting away from Reykjavik for a few nights to see the quieter side of Iceland. We definitely recommend this tour!

More than we expected! - Excellent tour. Thomas, our guide, was knowledgeable and friendly and we really appreciated his wealth of knowledge about Iceland and its folklore. We also appreciated the fact that we were not on a bus all the time with just a quick stop to take a photo and then back on the bus - each stop was for a decent length of time and allowed us to walk about and get a feel for where we were. The glacier trek was excellent and very well organised. We would recommend!

Mixed experience with Arctic Adventures - We booked three tours through Arctic Adventures: a 3 day South Coast and Golden Circle tour, a volcano trekking tour, and a horseback riding tour. The volcano trekking and horseback riding tours were operated by other companies, which we only found out after booking, when those companies contacted us directly to confirm the pick up. Communication from them was clear and proactive. The 3 day tour, however, was operated by Arctic Adventures. We were not contacted in advance to confirm details, and we simply waited at the chosen pick up location and time. The pick up was delayed by about 30 minutes, as mentioned in the booking description, but we were at pick up stop 1 and were the last to be collected. During that time, we did not know whether we would actually be picked up, which was stressful. Once the tour started, our guide was absolutely wonderful. He was kind, welcoming, and very informative. We could not have asked for a better guide. He shared information about all the places we visited, joined us during dinners, and even created a group chat so everyone could stay aligned and communicate easily during the trip. What truly upset me was that my suitcase was damaged during the tour. It was brand new and being used for the first time, and now I will need to replace it. I am concerned it may break further on my way back to the airport. I believe the company could improve luggage protection by cushioning the storage compartment to protect bags from impact and extreme cold. Since we traveled in winter, my clothes were extremely cold when removed from the suitcase, and my perfumes and skincare products were close to freezing, which almost caused damage as well. Overall, aside from the guide, I did not have contact with anyone else from the company. I felt there was a lack of organization and attentiveness toward customers. I do not know if this is simply a local custom, but I felt somewhat left on my own throughout the process.
