• Gullfoss Waterfall - Location: Head to Road 35 and locate the upper parking area of Gullfoss Waterfall. Here, you’ll find the ‘Gullfoss - Panorama Restaurant - Cafe - Shop’. If you park in the lower area, simply return to the main road and turn right uphill.

Meeting Time: Arrive at the meeting point by 11:45 AM.

Vehicles to Look for: Our transfer bus is near the Sleipnir meeting point sign at the parking lot close to the road of Gullfoss Cafe. In winter, look for the large red Monster Glacier Truck.

• Kjalvegur - Your adventure starts at Gullfoss, where you board the impressive Sleipnir Monster Glacier Truck for a journey into Iceland’s remote Highlands along the Kjölur Highland road, known as “Kjalvegur” in Icelandic. This expansive, uninhabited landscape is typically inaccessible in winter, with roads officially closed, but our specially modified vehicles make the journey possible and safe. As you settle into a comfortable seat, the excitement builds while panoramic windows reveal sweeping views of the rugged Highlands. Along the way, our knowledgeable guides share fascinating insights about glaciers, the forces that shaped the landscape, and stories from Icelandic folklore, making the drive as engaging as it is breathtaking. The drive to the glacier takes about 50 minutes, depending on snow conditions on the road.
• Langjökull - The highlight of the day is a visit to a natural ice cave on Langjökull Glacier, a hidden world visited only by your group at the time. Your journey there is just as thrilling—aboard our specially built Sleipnir Monster Truck, designed to drive smoothly over glacier ice and snow, you’ll travel comfortably across the vast, frozen landscape.
  Step onto the ice with crampons and explore a shimmering cave lined with soft blue hues and dramatic streaks of ancient black volcanic ash, frozen over centuries. Inside, the temperature is just below freezing, perfect for exploring and taking photographs. Outside, the massive glacier stretches as far as the eye can see, framed by the stark, untouched Highlands. Every turn, every view, and every moment offers a chance to capture unforgettable memories of one of Iceland’s most extraordinary and remote natural wonders.

After our visit, we head back to Gullfoss, making a photo stop en route.

• Gullfoss Waterfall - Journey’s End: We conclude right where we began, at Gullfoss Waterfall. It’s a wonderful time to reflect on all the fun you had and perhaps share your stories and pictures with friends and family.
