From start to finish, you can expect the experience to take 3-4 hours.

The day unfolds as follows: Meet Sam at the agreed time and location. Sam will ensure you are properly set up on your bike and provide a high-quality helmet that fits correctly (safety first!). Expect to spend 30-40 minutes with Sam as he covers bike operation, trail information, and offers excellent skills and technical tips. With a map in hand, embark on a truly amazing adventure. Sam welcomes high fives, hugs, fist bumps, and any excitement you bring back from your journey.

We use Merida Big 7/9 mountain e-bikes, chosen as the perfect match for the Blue Mountains fire trails and the average person’s needs. These fantastic bikes are equipped with Shimano components, including the motor and battery.

After completing this incredible ride, explore some of the wonderful cafes in Blackheath Village. You might also consider gearing up for the “Grand Canyon” walk from Blackheath. This delightful 2-3 hour hike is highly rated.

With scenic valley views across the Grose Valley and refreshing mountain air, this ride follows the fire trail along the ridgeline to the breathtaking Baltzers Lookout and the awe-inspiring Hanging Rock. Unlike other lookouts in the mountains, there is no safety fence here, offering an exhilarating view that feels like the edge of the world!

This is a classic “out and back” Blue Mountains ride – the straightforward navigation and relatively short distance make it ideal for less experienced cyclists looking to spend time on the dirt and connect with nature. However, more experienced cyclists will also enjoy it, as the flowing trails are sure to bring a smile to any rider’s face. Plus, the views are more than enough to keep everyone happy! Riders typically complete the ride in 3 hours.

With few uphill stretches and a manageable length, this mountain biking adventure is suitable for novices, but still provides enjoyment for more seasoned riders with its panoramic views.

• Bike insurance for accidental damage can be purchased on the day for $30
• This bike hire service has a minimum number requirement. Feel free to contact us leading up to your booking, to see if we have reached the minimum numbers. If you have some flexibility around the days you can ride, this goes a long way to help getting you on your adventure.
• SPD pedals. These can be hired on the day for $15.
• Shoes are very important. Blatzers lookout and Hanging Rock is loose underfoot. Shoes need GRIP!
• The owner Sam is very flexible and accommodating. Let him know if you have any special requests and he will always try.
• Start and finish times can vary to accommodate customers. All is confirmed the night before with a phone call from Sam.
• A passport, licence or acceptable form of identification along with an active credit card is required on the day for security purposes.
• Due to the service being mobile, we do require minimum numbers for the day to go ahead, so please reach out anytime after you have booked, to see if we have reached the minimum numbers. If you can be a little flexible with your ride day, this can go a long way to getting you on your great adventure.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
