Out of this world! - We had an excellent 2 days horse trekking trip! Planning was seamless with Datka! The driver who fetched us from the city was super vibe! The hostess family in the village was kind, friendly and provided us a hospitable welcome!
Of course the main reason was the horse trekking! We opted for a personal tour, just me and my friend, and a guide who followed us through the 3-4 hours horse trekking journey for day one. We reached our Yurt at Song Kul village and had great pilaf! Made friends from another group who was also based at the yurt stay. The view was amazing in winter! Cold but it was out of this world. I would do it again!

No Kyrgyzstan Trip is complete without a Horse Trek! - It was absolutely breathtaking! There's no better place to do a horse trek than Kyrgyzstan.
Talgat was incredibly professional and facilitated the whole process super smoothly. Our instructor, Molran was a gem of a person and genuinely looked out for us!
I would 100% recommend this to anyone who wishes to go to Kyrgyzstan.

Amazing experience! - The horse trek was an amazing experience! I was picked up at my hostel in Bishkek, and met 3 other travellers that were in my group for the trek. We had lunch, and then the horses arrived to take off.
Make sure that you bring all the stuff that you need for the 3 day trek. There was a small miscommunication about that with our group, so two girls ended up having none of their bags.
The horses are very sweet and easy to ride, even suitable for beginners. The track is also quite easy, a lot of walking and only a few minutes of galloping at the end of the day on certain areas. The last day descent is very very steep, and was a bit scary at times.
The yurts were nice and we were very well fed throughout the whole tour. It’s very cold tho, so pack warm clothes!
You have quite some free time on day two at the lake, which was very nice.

4 days in Kyrgys - Very good all round service, from the driver to the guides they we are always attentive and ensuring we had a good time. Would highly recommend to explore Kyrgyzstan.

Experience of a lifetime 🫶 - Everything was absolutely amazing. The entire trip went perfectly according to plan, everything was so well organized and taken care of. People were incredibly friendly and kind. We enjoyed every momen, it was truly an experience of a lifetime. Amazing experience horse trekking to Son Kul - Dakta travel provided a great experience and service. Very responsive to queries in the run up to the trek via WhatsApp. Gigi was an excellent host at Saddle Base, and Hannant was a very capable and reassuring guide. Slight glitch on night 1 when the planned yurt camp turned out to be closed, but this was resolved by the guide and we were quickly relocated. The yurt camp on the second night at Son Kul was outstanding - lovely family - can’t find the name of the camp but it’s the one where the son used to be a science teacher in Kyzart… Taxi driver back to Bishkek needed a nudge to slow down (but responded as requested..)

Beautiful tour - All of us really enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it to others.
We missed a bit of the structure from the guides: time of breakfast, time when we start the rides and so on, suggestions on activities in free time but we still had an amazing time! The organizers of the tour were very helpful and responsive!

Absolutely incredible experience! A must-do in Kyrgyzstan - This 3-day horse trek was incredible. The landscapes were absolutely magnificent, and my guide was so kind and helpful throughout the entire journey.
Datka Travel are extremely accommodating and professional. The founder, Talgat, is wonderful and genuinely goes out of his way to create an extraordinary experience that is tailored perfectly to your needs.
It was the highlight of my trip to Kyrgyzstan. I highly recommend it!

Love, love this tour experience! - One of the highlights of my trip in Kyrgyzstan. The ride was thrilling and the guide was amazing. The views along the way and at the stops, and experiences of staying in yurts were great! I’d really love to do this again if I’m ever back in the country.

Amazing journey, highlight of my trip to Kyrgyzstan - The horse trek to Song Kul was the highlight of my time in Kyrgyzstan. It’s an incredible adventure and it’s something unlike anything I had ever done before. It was my first time riding a horse, but my guide Murat was a great teacher and I picked it up quickly.
Crossing the mountain path on horseback is such an unreal experience, it’s hard to put it into words. It is physically demanding in a way that’s different from other activities, my body ached in places it never had before.
The yurts at the lake are quite bare bones, just a small place to sleep and some ovens for heat. The family that took us in were very hospitable and kind. It was a great way to meet other travelers as well.
Highly recommend this trek.
