• Bishkek - The guide will collect guests from their hotel to embark on an unforgettable journey. The route leads to the Burana Tower, situated in the quaint town of Tokmok (80 km or 50 miles from Bishkek). Travelers will drive along the bypass road near the Kazakhstan border, enjoying the stunning views of the Tien Shan mountains. Tokmok, the second largest city, offers glimpses of Soviet monuments and factories as you pass through. The journey continues through several charming villages, providing insight into the lives of local residents beyond the capital.
• Burana Tower - The guide will introduce visitors to local historical and ancient sites. Guests can ascend the historically significant tower for a breathtaking view of the Chu Valley and the Tien Shan Mountains. A small museum showcases various historical objects and archaeological artifacts, while an open-air museum displays ancient tombstones, stones, military monuments, and other fascinating historical items discovered in the region.
• Issyk-Kul - The journey proceeds to the stunning Issyk Kul, heading to Cholpon-Ata on the lake’s northern shore. Visitors will explore the Historical Museum Rukh Ordo to learn about the country’s history and visit the open-air petroglyph museum, featuring stone paintings from the 8th-6th centuries BC to the 3rd-4th centuries AD. The petroglyph area, located at the base of the Kungey Alatau ridge, offers a magnificent view of the entire lake.
