- Bishkek - In the morning, guests will be picked up from their hotel to embark on an exciting tour. The journey will head towards Burana Tower in the small town of Tokmok, located 80km from Bishkek. - Bishkek - In the morning, guests will be picked up from their hotel to embark on an exciting tour. The journey will head towards Burana Tower in the small town of Tokmok, located 80km from Bishkek. Travelers will drive along the border with Kazakhstan, and if the weather is clear, they will enjoy the stunning views of the Tien Shan mountains. Tokmok was the second largest industrial city in Kyrgyzstan during the Soviet era, and visitors can observe some Soviet monuments while passing through the city. The route also includes several small yet picturesque villages, offering a glimpse into the local life outside the capital.
- Burana Tower - The guide will showcase the mausoleums and other structures uncovered by archaeologists during excavations. Visitors will have the opportunity to climb to the top of the ancient tower, where a breathtaking view of the Chui valley and the Tien-Shan mountains unfolds. The small museum presents various archaeological artifacts, and the open-air museum features ancient gravestones, rock drawings, and other fascinating historical objects found in the region.
- Konorchek Canyons - The hike begins in Boom Gorge at the Red Bridge, which spans the Chu River. The one-hour hike (one-way) meanders through a labyrinth of rocks and red sandstone columns. The trail offers numerous photo opportunities and includes many exciting twists and turns. Hikers will follow a dried-up river through the narrow gorge until reaching a small plateau, providing a sweeping view of the red-earth Eolian Castles. The highlight of the hike is the panoramic view, where layers of canyons can be seen to the north and green meadows and mountains to the south. Enjoy a picnic lunch and a restful break, admiring the striking beauty of the cliffs, before beginning the return trek.

Enjoy the Spectacular View - A friendly and wonderful guide, and the view! The guide gave us a chance to experience Kyrgyz culture, giving us Kyrgyz stamps and a traditional kurt. The view was also an hour-long hike, with unimaginable views and a truly amazing experience!　They also took care of the time to catch the flight home, which helped!

Burana Tower was very... - Burana Tower was very cool, and the canyon hike was beautiful. Be careful in hot weather, but the guide was knowledgeable on the area and shared a lot of Kyrgyzstan history as well. Highly recommended.

Enjoy the superb view - I was able to taste the great nature of Kyrgyzstan! It was such a beautiful view! The hike, which lasted about an hour, was a good one. The driver was very kind and comfortable. They also gave me traditional sweets, kurts and nuts, and they were very caring. I hope to join another tour next time!

Highlight of my trip! - My tour to Konorchek Canyon and Burana Tower was the highlight of my trip! I loved that it was a small group and my guide, Faruk, made the whole day so much fun. He shared lots of interesting facts about the places we visited and answered all our questions about the country. The food was great, the views were incredible, and the whole experience felt more like a road trip with a friend. Highly recommend!

Unforgettable day. Great experience. - This full-day excursion was truly memorable. The canyon hike was not too difficult, and the stunning view at the end made every step completely worthwhile. Our lunch stop was an enjoyable experience in itself. Above all, our guide, Andrey, was top-notch. His knowledge led to a very insightful and exhilarating conversation about the local culture and the country’s evolution post-Soviet Union.

Can only recommend - We had a great day at Konorchek Canyons. It was very quiet, not many tourists around and the views were magnificent. The trip is about hiking and although the trail is not very demanding, I wouldn't recommend it to people with any mobility/walking limitations. I appreciate very good communication with the tour organizer.

Great trip to see cultural and natural wonders - This tour was great from start to finish! The visit to Burana Tower was really interesting — our guide Andrei shared some stories about its history and the Silk Road. Then we went for an adventurous hike in the Konorchek Canyon, which were absolutely beautiful.
Our guide was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we had a great time. Everything went smoothly, and the whole day felt relaxed and well organized. Definitely recommend this trip with Datka travel if you’re in Bishkek!
