Visit the iconic San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, also known as the castle rock, located off the shore along the Bay of Biscay, 35 km (22 miles) east of Bilbao. The island is connected to the mainland by a man-made stone bridge, leading to a narrow path with 241 steps zigzagging to the top. These famous steps were featured in season 7 of Game of Thrones. Experience San Sebastian: Urgull Hill and Old Town
Monte Urgull - After breakfast, walk through town to the top of Urgull Hill, offering one of the best views in town. At the summit stands a Sacred Heart Christ statue overlooking San Sebastian. The hike takes about 30 minutes through the wooded hill.
Basilica de Santa Maria del Coro - On the way back, explore San Sebastian’s old town, starting with the Basilica of Santa María del Coro, an impressive 18th-century Baroque building on Calle Mayor in the heart of the Old Town (Parte Vieja).
