The docent was excellent and we learned so much in so little time. I am considering becoming a docent someday. This is a fascinating museum with beautiful works and a real history!

An old friend of mine visited the museum when it first opened and he was smitten by it. Between that time and now (July, 2017) , I had never visited the museum despite my best intentions. Life just happened to get in the way! wife and I finally made the reservation and voila! ....I have been smitten by the beauty of his work and his genius. Even though I have seen the photos on the museum's website for years, they don't do justice to the real thing. There's nothing like being there...touching the wonderful surfaces...feeling the warmth of the wood...climbing the same stairs he climbed every day...imagining the creative energy flowing like electricity. I am spellbound. I also plan to return...sooner than 40+ years! Thank you for a fantastic tour and for keeping such a national treasure open to the public. G. Davis

It was a truly a pleasure to discover Whorton's multiple creative talent in a spectacular setting in Paoli pa. His home and property and works are truly an American treasure. Certain the beautiful woods and hills I can only imagine how glorious his works and is home most appeared during the change of the seasons Our docent was very knowledgeable and eager to share with us all that she knew about such a magnificent man and his wonderful works It should not be missed.
