Pricing seemed just a little high for that many people.
The zoo is very accomidating and when the weather turned bad for the day with thunderstorms, they came thru and my 5 year olds birthday was the best time he has ever had.
The kids had fun and our family loves your zoo. Some tips that may improve party experiences- first, I’d suggest taking the camel ride off the package unless it’s a definite option. It does say something about the weather, which makes sense if it was raining, but it was sunny (and cold) so we were disappointed that it wasn’t a part of our day. Also, we paid for the special animal experience, which was fun, however I think it would’ve been a lot more engaging for the kids if the person who brought out the animals out did a bit more of a “presentation” about the animals, to teach the kids about them. You also might want to include in the description of the party packages that it is not structured, so people understand in advance that they are going to have to decorate and plan out any games or events themselves. Lastly, if you had an online party invitation that could be downloaded that would be nice too. We were happy with the party overall and will definitely be back to the zoo. It was really just little detail stuff that can be added to enhance everyone’s experience :)
Was a nice experience. Just was very confused how payment totals were reached as we never received a breakdown or anything? Bird man really made the experience as the camels weren't available and the sloths had already exhausted their daily visitors we were told. (Had two lizards and a rabbit for animal encounters) Had some people in our party ask if the birds were extra for future interest, but honestly wasn't sure what to tell them as didn't know how things worked out to our $290 total (+$10 tip for bird man)? As the gift shop was crowded at the end we didn't want to make a big issue asking about it,but just were curious for the different reasons. Overall, the kids enjoyed themselves and that's what mattered most to us. The staff was nice and being able to setup fifteen minutes early really was nice.
The party room was not very private with other guests coming in to look at the animals. Also I had my party from 2-4 and the camel rides ended at 3. No one told me that so we had to rush out to get our rides. The room was not cleaned fro. The previous party, their pizza boxes were overflowing the trash. We love Indian creek, are members and visit often, but the party aspect lacked organization and direction.
