Today, this botanical garden is recognized as Grade II listed and provides vibrant colors and interest all year round. The restored walled garden, featuring a unique crinkle-crankle wall, bursts into a spectrum of colors from May to October. The lawns are bordered with striking color-themed plantings, leading to an original sandstone rock garden and a woodland walk adorned with Gunnera leaves and Rhododendron displays. The garden boasts a diverse collection of plants from around the world, including species from China, North and South America, and the Alpine regions.
