Lovely day out - Lovely day out, lots to see, great educational opportunities. We went on a school visit day, not by choice 🙃 but the staff at the Sea Life Centre were excellent in keeping the children engaged and gently moving them on so general public guests can see each exhibit. Everywhere was clean, tidy, toilets were very clean too.

Toddlers and Tons of Fun - Went with my toddler who is absolutely in love with the place. He didn’t want to leave. Time flies when you’re having fun.

Intense - It's a full on sensory experience inside here to which I was somewhat relieved to get outside after. It's a very enclosed space. That said. Staff we spoke with on the way around are lovely. Really informative and great with the kids. There was also plenty to see going round and a fun way to spend a couple of hours.

Great day out - We liked the sea life centre but it hasn't changed much in decor for about 16 years. So when I went again I was shocked it hadn't been modernised. The fish and all the animals are amazing and the staff are very knowledgeable. Nice day out.

Nice activity for small children - Came with a 2 and a 4 year old. Spent about 2 hours here. We all enjoyed it. Perfect size and enough to see for small children. Very sensory experience. We arrived at 10 for the first slot on a Sunday, and it was relatively busy but manageable. If I had the choice I would come midweek when I imagine it’s much quieter. Wish I’d known to bring myself a coffee but I was very glad I brought drinks and snacks for the kids as there is nothing to purchase inside. But there are plenty of benches and tables you can sit and stop if you’ve brought stuff with you.

Underwhelming - First off, the ticket price doesn't justify the collections. I saw kids having lots of fun. There were a few instances that I enjoyed myself (especially meeting the friendly and curious octopus and watching three penguins swimming and launching themselves onto the platform). Otherwise, it was underwhelming. I spent about an hour in there.

Hugely overpriced - I would only recommend visiting if you have a Merlin pass. If not - it is hugely overpriced, especially on a weekend. I visited as a child and remembered it as one long queue all the way round. Nothing has changed in nearly 30 years. Some members of staff were great but others just ignored visitors. We’ll give it a another go on a weekday before my son starts school but we definitely won’t be back for another weekend visit.

Not worth the money - The aquarium was sold out which was easy to tell as we were queueing to look at anything. They oversell on tickets so there’s no space to move around. For £104 for 2 adults, 2 kids and a baby, the aquarium is really small and didnt take long to go round at all. The aquarium is very visually pleasing and pretty but I felt so many tanks were too small for the size of the animals and I felt rather guilty for contributing towards a centre that is clearly focusing on profit primarily. Wouldn’t go back in all honesty.

Too Crowded - Over booked and Crowded. Not as many exhibits as expected. Took less than 1 hour to go around which some of this time was spent queuing from one zone to the next.
