Better than we thought - We didn't expect much after hearing that place is nothing special but we were positively surprised. We loved it. Fun for children and adults. Great experience. Mo was our favourite.

Very good but a bit lacklustre - The views and staff were amazing especially greybeard and the otters. I did feel however like it was a little bit empty and I would’ve liked to see more

An interesting and informative exhibition - A well designed and laid out exhibition with lots of fish and ocean life. Very informative throughout. On a personal opinion I think penguins are more suited to a large zoo enclosure.

Good but needs improvement - We loved the variety of animals and the viewing points were well thought out. We really enjoyed seeing them all. One thing that was really annoying was the really loud music. I know it is trying to create an ambiance but honestly it spoilt it at times for us. I want to just enjoy the exhibits. You already have lots of noise from people I do wonder whether it is fair on the animals too as they must sense something. The same with no flash photos which makes complete sense then every so often you bump into another money making photo op with bulb flashes. The info screens next to each tank are also infuriating as you want to know what it is there but half the time all that is displayed is an advert asking to donate money. I want to read about your fish!

Not the best - The speakers were too loud and really made the trip difficult for my little girl. I found there to be less animals than before. The printable photos were lovely but £20 for 2 when it use to be 3 for £19 is steep and also having to now pay £5 extra to get the rest as a digital copy when before if you brought photos you would get it on top for free.

- Very dissatisfied. If we're talking about the price, I paid 50% off thanks to a promotion, honestly, it's not worth more than that. Very narrow and very small. Worn out and outdated. I had higher expectations.

Awful - Other than the penguins it was awful half of the stuff I remember as a kid was gone my child was bored after the first 4 fish tanks as it was the same fish over and over again and most of the tanks were empty and replaced with shells honestly so overpriced for what it is even the photo bundle is a rip off wouldn’t go there again as my child wasn’t even impressed

Fiasco - I attempted to visit on Tuesday 1st July. I hadn’t booked in advance. I requested a ticket and presented my credit card. I was told that the contactless payment system was down. No problem, I offered cash. I was told they can’t take cash. It was suggested that, while standing in a very hot lobby, with nowhere to sit, I should purchase a ticket online and return to the desk to gain entry. So with my phone in one sweaty hand and my credit card in another, while standing in an uncomfortably warm corner, I made four attempts to purchase a ticket online but kept getting an error message. I returned to the ticket desk but the best they could offer was for me to hand my phone and credit card over to a member of staff for them to attempt it again on my behalf. For basic financial security reasons, I was not prepared to do that and I left in anger and frustration, a train journey and a long walk to get there. I won’t be back!
