A Unique Birmingham Walking Tour - I recently joined the Peaky Blinders and Public Art Walking Tour in Birmingham with Jonathan from Positively Birmingham Walking Tours, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Jonathan is an excellent guide — knowledgeable, engaging and clearly passionate about his city. The tour strikes a great balance between exploring the world of Peaky Blinders and discovering Birmingham’s vibrant public art scene. It was fascinating to see how locations connected to the series sit alongside striking murals and artworks that reflect the city’s culture and history. What really made the tour special was Jonathan’s storytelling. He shared plenty of insights about the real history behind the Peaky Blinders, the filming connections with Birmingham, and the artists behind many of the city’s impressive murals. His enthusiasm and sense of humour kept the whole group engaged throughout the walk. The tour is also a great way to discover parts of Birmingham you might otherwise miss. From hidden artworks to well-known city landmarks, it offered a fresh perspective on the city and its creative spirit. I would highly recommend this tour to Peaky Blinders fans, art lovers, and anyone wanting to discover Birmingham in an original and entertaining way. Thanks Jonathan for such an enjoyable and insightful walk!

Unmissable tour for Street Art enthusiasts - I booked on the Digbeth and Public Art tour and my guide was Jonathan. I really enjoyed the tour, Jonathan is very passionate and knowledgeable and the two hours flew by inmmersed in fascinating conversations with Jonathan. The part I enjoyed most was seeing the Street art murals in Digbeth, they were stunning and I would not have found these by myself. I highly recommend it if you enjoy Street art! Below some photos of the tour and even one of Jonathan!

Informative, fun walk around Digbeth - Really enjoyed this 2 hour walk around Digbeth. Jonathan (with Raj as support) was a brilliant guide, full of information, humour and a very speedy walker! The tour was tailored perfectly with opportunities to ask questions, time to stop and look at things, even the rain didn't spoil it. Birmingham is a brilliant city to walk around but it helps to know where you're going. It's also interesting to see the differences between graffiti and street art and start to recognise different artist's styles. Will I remember all the names - probably not, but I will notice the ones that I liked. The audio aspect of the tour works well so it doesn't matter if you fall a little bit behind or if you wander off a little as you can still hear everything. Getting a copy of the book at the end was a nice touch so I can read up a bit more. Will definitely look at other tours as well.

Informative look at Birminghams street art culture and history. - Jonathan was an incredibly knowledgeable guide full of energy and information. I've lived in Birmingham all my life but never knew much about it. I do now.. We covered allot of ground so the tour was fast paced but not a problem. Public art is a fascinating part of Birmingham culture that few appreciate.

Jonathan's passion sold Birmingham to me. - An absolutely superb experience. It is clear that Jonathan is passionate about his city and the artists that decorate what would otherwise be a very sorry looking part of the country. For a first impression of Birmingham this was perfect, we also had a few Brummies with us who were also amazed by the talent on display and had no idea that it was so prominent.
