I always enjoy this trip and I wanted to try it in March, just to see what, if anything, would be out there. There were only three of us present (excluding two CMBO staff), but the owner didn't cancel. He was as enthusiastic about going out as we were! Thanks to him, we enjoyed many Buffleheads, Atlantic Brant, Common Loon, Red Breasted Merganser, Horned and Eared Grebe, Greater Scaup, Great Horned Owl, Laughing Gulls and closeup looks at a gathering of Boat Tailed Grackles, mostly females, on one of the grassy islands. A very good day, indeed.

I was with my two cousins and each spring we take a cruise, last year was Cape May. This year we chose the Maurice River trip. We are all interested in the Big birds. I was hoping to see some Eagles and was not disappointed. I love using your spyglasses and our Captain and Guides are all knowledgeable and make the trip interesting. Of course, the great weather that day helped. I would certainly come back!

Overall it was a very enjoyable trip. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. They positioned the boat so all could see the wildlife. I will take this trip again next time I am at Cape May.

This was the fourth or fifth trip I've taken with the Osprey. Each is a little different and I always appreciate the insights and knowledge that is shared. This trip we saw a bald eagle, the first I've ever seen in the wild. A real highlight for me.
