We enjoyed the movie and learned a lot about the Amish community. We were the only visitors that day which gave us lots of time to ask questions.

My Google review is that everyone should start their Lancaster adventures HERE, at the Amish Theater to see "Jacob's Choice" and to have the house/school tour - even before going on the buggy ride and doing any other attractions. We learned so much from the tour and felt immersed in Amish reality with the movie. Both are excellent learning opportunities for all ages from elementary age to senior citizens!

We learned so much and the gentleman who was our guide was wonderful. The movie portion was very clever in the way that it was presented.

I always enjoy the workmanship of the Amish so I felt inclined to learn more about their way of life and I’m happy I went.

I loved learning all about the Amish! My tour guide was not so friendly when we had extra questions to ask. I wish she was a little more understanding.

We loved the show, but had difficulty hearing it. I suggest the narrator use a mic - she was so knowledgeable, but I had to strain to not miss a word. The movie was a challenge as well. I think if the main screen was solid, rather than barn siding it would have been clearer & more enjoyable. These two reasons are why I 4-starred the rating. The tour of the homestead was great. Again, the guide was a fount of information and answered all our questions and then some. Kudos to her! We also appreciated the care given to staging the schoolroom and home. It reflected a rightful pride and conscientiousness to detail. We would recommend the experience to friends.

I arrive late because of traffic and I was not able to get a refund so I was so disappointed
