The experience was exactly what we expected and needed. The film was interesting and informative . The tour of the homestead was also good and personal - with all our questions answered. Our tour guide Divine was very good in his presentation and easy to answer our questions .

We came down from Connecticut for a basketball AAU event for my daughter and we booked this experience last minute and I will say that it was a great decision. We enjoyed our time very much. It was very informal. I’ve learned so much about the Amish people that I had no idea of it was also great for my daughter to experience. I loved the tour and the nice woman who gave us great detail of how the community lived and live these days. The movie was also great very entertaining and I was shocked on the theatrics. I would recommend anyone visiting the area to definitely take a look around and gain as much information as possible on the people who live in this area. It is a great experience.

We enjoyed the movie and learned a lot about the Amish community. We were the only visitors that day which gave us lots of time to ask questions.

My Google review is that everyone should start their Lancaster adventures HERE, at the Amish Theater to see "Jacob's Choice" and to have the house/school tour - even before going on the buggy ride and doing any other attractions. We learned so much from the tour and felt immersed in Amish reality with the movie. Both are excellent learning opportunities for all ages from elementary age to senior citizens!

The audio in the theater wasn't always clear or loud enough for me. I was seated in the very back which may have been the issue.The story was interesting to learn. Our tour guide was informative and pleasant. She was accommodating for an elderly handicapped guest.

I arrive late because of traffic and I was not able to get a refund so I was so disappointed
