A great option to be able to interact directly with the Amish! - The tour was good, the Amish were very friendly and curious. It was great being able to see what this Community does for a living, learn about their lodging, etc. The only thing I did not like was that the driver was very hard to understand, and so I miss quite a bit of what he was saying about the Amish... Too bad!

VIP..In Person Tour is excellent - It was a great tour and you get to visit the Amish homes and have a personal conversation with them. Sitting in their kitchen or back deck talking was a treat. Our tour guide Kent was very knowledgeable and has wonderful stories.

Great Amish country tour - Great experience! We got to visit an Armish farm. Also went to an Amish leather shop. The best part was visiting an Amish couples' home.

Time and money well spent. Would definitely do this again. - Enjoyed visiting a working dairy farm (during milking process),a greenhouse, and an in-home visit with an Amish family. Everyone was very welcoming and informative about their individual family operated business. The high-light of the tour was the visit with John and Susie in their home. We had a great Q&A session with everyone sharing information about themselves and their families. Our tour guide (Jim) was fantastic. He provided a detailed history of Amish and Mennonite culture. Well worth the price.

Great Experience, do some homework before you go. - Our tour guide Jim was great. He was very knowledgeable about the Amish community and Lancaster county. We most enjoyed the harness shop and workshop and visit with an Amish family. The dairy farm was interesting, but a bit too visceral of an experience for our kids who’ve never experienced a farm with all of the odors that come with farming. Would still recommend, but you may want to explain to your kids beforehand about the dairy farm experience. If you choose the 5-8 pm slot, be sure to find restaurants in advance that are open past 8 pm. The closest restaurant closes at 8 pm, and others were closed on the day we went, so plan for an 8:30 dinner a solid 15 minute drive from the Amish Experience site. Alternatively have an early dinner before 5 pm. Lastly, there are no bathroom access during the 3 hour tour, so plan accordingly. Overall, it was a great experience, one my family will not soon forget. Highly recommend it.
