Amazing experience - Far and away one of the best tours I’ve been on with my family. Anthony was a total delight. He was incredibly knowledgeable about every thing Costa Rica. We saw some INCREDIBLE animals, and reptiles. We had amazing experiences, We learned a ton. We got some amazing photos. Amazing Excursion - My family(wife and 2 teenage daughters) had a great time with our guide Hernan. He was very friendly, made great conversation and was extremely helpful. Very fun time at each stop. Make sure at the waterfall to have the local, didn’t get his name, take your pictures. His pictures were amazing and look like they were taken with a drone.

Sloths, butterflies, birds and more! - What a wonderful tour! Jafeth was friendly and informative. He checked to make sure we were happy and having fun throughout the day. We saw sloths, birds, snakes, and we even spotted a poison dart frog! The coffee and cocoa tour was great as well and the staff were kind and knowledgeable. We highly recommended!

Amazing time! - This tour was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. Our guide Fernando was absolutely amazing. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. We got to see numerous animals up close and personal, had an amazing time at the coffee plantation, a great lunch, and topped it off with an easy hike to an amazing waterfall. We are so glad we booked this tour and would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Amazing tour - This tour was incredible from start to finish. Our guide was so kind and knowledgeable and the things we saw were amazing. The waterfall was beautiful, the coffee and cocoa tour was interesting and interactive, and the animal tour far exceeded our expectations. Every person we interacted with was fantastic. Our tour guide even stopped in the pouring rain to help me buy mangos from a fruit stand. Our whole family had a great time and would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience Costa Rica.

Wonderful tour! We loved every minute! - We took this private tour with a party of 6. Youngest child only 4 and our oldest member was 80 with some mobilty issues. Anthony picked us up at our resort in his sparkling clean van with great air conditioning, right on time and we set off on our great adventure. We know its not always possible to avoid weather and May starts the rainy season but Anthony was aware of the weather in the areas we were heading and was able to order our stops to avoid it. Our first stop was the waterfall. Truly a stunningly beautiful place. Anthony was super attentive in helping our 80 year old navigate the steps and always had a helping arm or an offer to carry something. I was truly worried when booking tours that they might be more than grandpa could handle but Anthonys attention made it all possible. Swimming at the waterfall was a definite high point of our trip. Everyone young and old loved it and will never forget it. From there we moved on the wildlife sanctuary where we saw frogs in amazing colors, snakes, toucans and sloths. It was a very jungle like walk and there was someone from the facility to point out plants and wildlife and teach us so much about what we saw. After that it was time for lunch at a local place that served wonderful food and had a butterfly garden! From there it was on to coffee and chocolate. Once again our adventure did not disappoint. We weren't sure what the kids would think about the coffee part but they loved it as much as the adults. We learned about the plants and then got to peel and grind beans. Same with cacao beans. All of us loved drinking our samples and chewing on sugar cane. Overall all the day was wonderful from start to finish. Even the ride from place to place was enjoyable filled with Anthony stories and knowledge of the area. The ride back included some over tired cranky and crying kids but that didn't phase Anthony and he kept a smile the whole time. He also was super accommodatingwith a grocery store stop on the way back. Thanks so much Anthony and On The Road Costa Rica we will never forget you

Best day ever!! - We had the best day with Anthony, I would recommend his company to anyone. Anthony met us at our hotel, in a very well maintained air conditioned shuttle. He was friendly and funny from the first moment we met him. Our group (of all young women) felt incredibly safe with Anthony. We initially had scheduled a half day excursion to La Leona, but once Anthony realized we weren’t staying in Costa Rica very long, and really wanted to see sloths, he suggested adding on additional stops to our day. He was not pushy- it felt like he genuinely wanted us to get the best experience possible in Costa Rica. We then had the best day of our lives. Anthony came with us on our hike, and shared so much knowledge about the country, the whole time making us laugh. He then took us to lunch at a local spot, to see sloths and other wildlife, and then to a coffee plantation. We will miss you Anthony, thank you for the most incredible experience ever! Pura vida 💕

Fantastic Exotic Animals, Coffee, Chocolate, Waterfall, and authentic food your! (With amazing Francisco) - This was an absolutely incredible tour! Exotic animals, coffee, chocolate making, authentic Costa Rican food, butterflies, an a beautiful waterfall! Francisco was the best tour guide we’ve ever had. He was respectful, made us feel comfortable, was very accommodating, cheerful, friendly, and had a positive, bright presence. He was so knowledgeable to all of our hundreds of questions we asked about costs rica and made sure we were doing good at all times. He helped us with practicing Spanish, we had some laughs, and we shared music. For the animal tour we saw so much in just two hours! Toucans, sloths, exotic frogs, and even a blue monarch butterfly that showed up to end the show. We had Casado (authentic Costa Rican food), made fresh coffee, made fresh chocolate straight from cacao beans, went to a butterfly sanctuary, and saw the gorgeous llanos de Cortez waterfall. Francisco also accommodated us wanting to stop at a panederia and fruit stand when we requested. Francisco was truly a stellar guide and would love to go on another tour with him again. Would 100% recommend. Living the pura vida.
