Kayaking and "Yaking" (talking about Hawaii) on the peaceful river. - We really enjoyed all the information Adam shared with us about Hawaiian culture and history. Since we were a small group he modified the pace and we were able to cove all the allowable territory of the kayak river and also get near the harbor. Adam was prepared with providing snacks and also weather gear since we experienced rain. We had a great time! An idea I have is whether the route can be lengthened somehow. I know it would take some challenging communication with the apartment complex past the county park which will not allow commercial venues in their area. I would recommend this for people who are not quite so adventurous about scuba diving or other more challenging tours. Thanks! We enjoyed the experience.

Even my water-adverse wife had a great time! - I booked a solo tour for myself because my wife isn't a big water person. When we got to Ocean Adventures, they told us I was the only one on the tour because other parties had cancelled. Guides Morgan and Sarah convinced my wife to go on Morgan's kayak. She and I both had a great time thanks to the fun spirit and knowledge of Morgan and Sarah. Thanks, guys, for a wonderful experience!

Highly recommend, Morgan made it a great time! - I went with my son on this kayak tour and we had Morgan as our tour guide. I was a little skeptical at first when my son booked it as I don't know how to swim and haven't kayaked much, but I was blown away by our tour guide. It can be beyond confusing trying to steer a kayak as you need to paddle left to go right and right to go left, but thankfully I had Morgan to help. He was so patient with me in the beginning when I was almost spinning around in circles, and after his explanation things started to make a lot more sense. So much so that later on in the tour as my song and him were cruising in the water that I sped past them! He was super knowledgeable of the history of the island, was able to answer all my questions about the plant life during the tour, and even recommended the Liliuokalani Gardens which my son and I checked out after the tour! This was my first time in Hawaii and I already want to come back because of how great an experience we had on this tour. Highly recommend it for a nice chill few hours on the water

Overall a good experience - Although we enjoyed the experience and our guide was very pleasant, there were a couple of things that could be improved: 1) the seats (back support) on the kayaks need to be upgraded. They were too low , did not give good back support and consequently were very uncomfortable. 2) our guide, although pleasant, didn’t provide much historical information.

Disappointing “River” tour - The business and our guide,Adam, were fine. Overall, the experience was very disappointing and barely meets the descriptions of a river adventure. Most of the river is not allowed for commercial tours. We had a small area of river that was near the boat launch and nothing worth seeing. We spent most of the time kayaking on “ocean” protected by a break wall. Relatively calm but nothing really worth exploring or seeing. This experience was an opportunity to be in a kayak for 90 minutes but definitely not worth the $100 per person. In my experience a river kayak adventure is miles long and includes scenic highlights…weaving and winding with the natural flow of water as it cuts through the land. This experience did not warrant a guide. We could have just as easily been in kayaks and told to return in 2 hours.
