Spend four hours enjoying Hawaii’s ultimate activity park with a visit to the Umauma Falls Zipline Experience. Embark on a thrilling adventure across the park’s nine ziplines — soaring over a tropical garden and the Umauma River — try your skills at stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking, or simply cool off in the refreshing waters of Umauma’s private pond and waterfall. Your half-day excursion includes both a guide and a complimentary picnic lunch.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Guests not zipping but accompanied by 2 or more paying zippers, may access the park’s garden and waterfalls for free
- Must be 4-years-old or above to zip
- No refunds given for no-shows and late arrivals
- Ziplining requires closed-toe shoes
- Zipline not recommended for pregnant women or people with back or neck problems
- Involves a small amount of walking
- Weight limits: minimum 35 lbs; maximum 275 lbs

Awesome zipline tour!!! - We absolutely loved every minute of this tour! The staff were incredibly fun and helpful. We enjoyed the zipline and waterfall swim combo, which was exhilarating. The grounds are stunningly beautiful and pristine. Plus, there's so much more to explore and do there.

Best Zipline tour of my life - My visit to The Umauma Experience on the Big Island was absolutely thrilling – hands down one of the highlights of my Hawaii trip! From the moment we arrived, the staff was extremely accommodating, going out of their way to make sure everyone felt comfortable and ready for the adventure, even helping with gear and answering all our questions with genuine enthusiasm.
The entire park is gorgeous and extremely well-kept, with lush tropical gardens, pristine trails, and that perfect Hawaiian rainforest vibe that makes you feel immersed in paradise.
But the real star is the zipline experience itself – wow, it was awesome! Soaring across the 9 lines over cascading waterfalls, the Umauma River, and with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and Mauna Kea in the distance… it was pure magic. The lines are long and exciting (some dual for racing side-by-side!), and getting those close-up glimpses of the famous triple-tiered Umauma Falls was unforgettable. The suspension bridge added an extra fun element, and everything felt super safe with the professional guides.
If you’re looking for an adrenaline rush combined with stunning natural beauty, this is a must-do. Highly recommend – I’ll be back next time I’m in Hawaii!

Super fun family experience! - Such a fun experience!! Our kids will remember this always! Our guides were the best! Unfortunately, poor weather conditions resulted in us skipping a few lines, but we were refunded accordingly. Sad to miss those but safety was top priority and we appreciate that!

Wonderful Zip and Dip Experience - Although Zipline #4 was down our guides went out of their way to make sure we were well hydrated and even let us try some guava fruit. The private waterfall swim was awesome and Nick and Isaiah were very attentive and personable. Isaiah even sang some well known tunes in both English and Hawaiian.

Perfect all the way around! - The zips were fin and beautiful. The guides were great - fun, personable, encouraging, met everyone where they were at. The swim afterwards was very beautiful and refreshing- and nice to swim in fresh water for a change. It was a great day!

Zip line plus swim - What an amazing adventure on the 9 course zip line follow by swimming at one of the water fall. Crew was amazing. Must do while on the Big Island.

The perfect escape - First time ziplining for my boyfriend and I, we had the BEST time!!! Umauma Falls is one of my favorite places on the island, so choosing the Umauma Experience was a no-brainer. The guides were amazing and so is the staff at the visitors center. They welcomed us with open arms, were very courteous, and super knowledgeable. I can't wait to go back and do the ATV tours!
